As huge fans of the Gueuleton franchise, we had been dreaming of discovering this cave restaurant. We weren't disappointed. The setting is magnificent. The staff is very professional and attentive (thank you for the candle with dessert for my birthday). The grill chef gave excellent advice on the ribeye steak. The waitresses were equally helpful. The pâté en croûte is well worth its awards. The wines, both white and red, from the region, are sumptuous. I even left with a case of six. The sparkling white Cray is simply incredible. A very special mention goes to the dessert, which we enjoyed immensely: the Grand Marnier soufflé. We will gladly return with friends to show them this magnificent interior with its incredible central fireplace.

After a disappointing first experience when Gueleton first opened in Montlouis, a second visit has led me to revise my initial assessment. The team has found its footing with the concept, and the cuisine is centered around sharing and conviviality in a unique setting that's well worth a visit. It's the perfect place to enjoy a good time with colleagues or friends.

An experience!! You need to be a real meat lover to fully appreciate this place. The setting is incredible and the typically French atmosphere is fantastic. It's certainly a bit pricey, but what a treat!! Thank you for the evening

Around a central fireplace, this cave restaurant offers tapas-style dishes to share, reinvented to satisfy lovers of simple and appetizing French cuisine: red meat, charcuterie, cheese... Yum!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; young and old alike. A very successful family outing. What's good is meant to be shared! Price per person: 30-40 euros.

A magnificent place, chic, classy, and with a great atmosphere. Mathéo was fantastic; he cooked us delicious homemade dishes and told us their stories. He's a very pleasant and professional chef.
The same goes for our waitress; she was wonderful, with a great, convivial spirit. We finished our meal with a cigar box.

Absolutely everything! One of the best Gueuleton franchises I know. The only thing I felt could be improved was the wine list. They should offer more natural wines, the quintessential Rabelaisian wines we love, but not enough Loire wines (which do have deep roots in the terroir, after all), but that might be explained by the fact that the restaurant (formerly La Cave) is part of a larger group that also includes a vineyard. Aside from a certain wine philosophy, EVERYTHING, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, is perfect. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
