In the middle of the fortress but peaceful and elegant, this small restaurant was a perfect surprise. The food was delicious, the staff polite and friendly.

Perfect welcome and service, very good discussions with the boss, excellent cuisine and terrace in a very pleasant quiet courtyard. We had a great time and will happily come back if we have the opportunity to be in the area again!

Excellent food but would be improved if you had a vegetarian option as standard. The mozzerella salad was awesomez. As we're the puddings. Maybe have little more variety in the background music, not everyone is a jazz enthusiast 😀. The service was also excellent.

Very good service. Very good explanation of the dishes. Now we were rushed for arrival time even though the restaurant was practically empty. Very expensive price. Allow at least €100 for 1 starter for 2 people and 2 dishes for each. We couldn't have dessert because it was really too expensive.

Very nice discovery, at the bend of a small alley in the city, a little away from the entrance to the dungeon and far from the tourist hustle and bustle. Absolutely worth discovering: the decor, the service and of course the cuisine. We chose the cassoulet which was absolutely perfect, both in quality and quantity and it had been a very long time since I had eaten such a tasty Catalan cream. Thank you also for the advice regarding wine and listening regarding allergies 🙏 Well done, we will definitely come back. Phil

26/09/2024: Estábamos caminando junto a este café durante la hora del almuerzo mientras paseaba por Carcasona y fuimos recibidos por una señora que estaba sirviendo una casa llena. Elegimos una mesa afuera para ver pasar el mundo y la señora fue más que servicial explicando lo que era la Plat du Jour. La comida (me gustó un Tartare de Boeuf y mi compañero Salade de Fromagerie) ) y el vino era excelente. El servicio era maravilloso y el propietario vino cuando habíamos terminado para preguntar si todo era de nuestro agrado que, sin duda, era. Nuestro almuerzo estaba bien - precio y vale la pena cada centavo. La gente que miraba era buena, ya que la ciudad cobró vida después del almuerzo Bien recomendado a cualquiera que visite Carcasona

14/10/2024: While staying in Carcassonne, my hotel offered an overpriced & disappointing breakfast. I came here instead. Much better food, professional and friendly staff and a decent coffee too.
