Restaurant Le Domaine des Roches sur Briare

Very pleasant stay at the Domaine des Roches: the castle is located in a very large park of 10 hectares. We stayed in a two-bedroom cottage: spacious and very well equipped. We were able to enjoy the hot swimming pool as well as the sauna and the hammam. The restaurant was also a very good surprise: truly sophisticated and tasty cuisine in a very pleasant room. A big thank you to the whole team (and a special mention to Tommy) for the very friendly and pleasant welcome.

Very beautiful, quiet establishment on a 13 hectare wooded estate located near the city center and with quick access to the A77. The building from the end of the 19th century has been tastefully renovated while preserving the historical heritage, particularly all parts made of enamel and marble, the floors and the magnificent fireplaces among others. We occupied a large junior suite with a very warm decor and impeccable maintenance, like all the facilities; all the staff in all departments are pleasant and attentive, the swimming pool and hammam are perfectly clean and at good temperatures, as for the restaurant it offers a sufficiently varied menu with quality dishes at very reasonable prices. correct. One last important point: animals are accepted even in the restaurant if they are calm, which is far from being a general rule!!! I will pass over a few points for improvement because they are negligible for me. We had a great stay and we will be back very soon. G.Vidal

An unforgettable moment for our wedding anniversary. A more than warm welcome, a restaurant with succulent cuisine a delight. The room worthy of a 4 star I would add 1. Finally we will never forget thank you very much to all.

We just left, rested and relaxed! The estate is really just a stone's throw from Briare train station, which allowed us to come here as a family! Comfortable and relaxing cottage, access to the Spa and swimming pool at no extra charge! Impeccable and very friendly staff, we almost felt like we were at home!

Site remarquable avec un parc arboré exceptionnel et un bâtiment méritant d’être classé et service professionnel et agréable. Le bémol vient du fait, à mon sens, d’’une utilisation peu parcimonieuse des épices sur certains accompagnements (polenta, amuse bouche où la carotte disparaît totalement). Dommage car le reste est réussi, notamment le velouté de butternut, l’émincé de volaille ainsi que les desserts. Toutefois, nous avons passé un bon moment.

Très bon restaurant . Sublime cadre si l’on mange à l’extérieur. Carte relativement courte, gage de fraîcheur. Les plats sont bien présentés et bien cuisinés. Service impeccable, attentif et sympathique. On a regretté le manque de saveur du pain mais c’est du aux vacances du boulanger. Belle carte des vins.

A bucolic, romantic and relaxing place. What's more with dinner taken on site in an enchanting setting. 4 stars for the rooms which are a little dated. The staff are lovely.
