Restaurant Le Meysset sur Sarlat-La-Caneda

Nous avons pour la première fois depuis des années sur Sarlat franchi la porte de ce bel établissement perché sur les hauteurs de la ville . Malheureusement cette soirée était accompagnée d'un fort orage ce qui nous a pas permis de profiter de la splendide terrasse et sa vue spectaculaire. Le repas fût donc servi dans la grande et jolie salle .Les plats choisis sur la carte , on tous été d'une excellente qualité , finesse dans la présentation , et produits frais de cette belle région gastronomique . Le service excellent , le seul petit désagrément fût le brouhaha important compte tenu du nombre de personnes , et la chaleur , la clim n'ayant pas été mise en route . Espérons que la prochaine fois on pourra déjeuné sur la terrasse .

Discovered in winter, you absolutely had to try the terrace in summer! Done. Quality welcome, excellent dishes and a superb view of the Sarlat valley.

Very well located restaurant with a magnificent view from the terrace. Very welcoming staff who share their advice and knowledge The cuisine is very good, we enjoyed a Périgord menu, succulent semi-cooked foie gras, crispy duck confit full of flavor with its accompaniment of sweet potatoes and sesame, the dessert in the form of Vacherin with walnuts was a treat. All accompanied by glasses of almost local wine, Monbazillac and Bergerac. We will come back with great pleasure

EXTREMELY long service 😴😴😴. We had reservations for 8 p.m. We were served the appetizer at 8:30 p.m., the starter at 9:15 p.m. and finally the main course a little after 9:30 p.m....

If you are looking for tranquility, far from the summer hustle and bustle of Sarlat city center, Meysset can be a very good option. We had the chance to enjoy the magnificent terrace with panoramic views, sheltered from the pergola. The cuisine and service are refined. The dishes are of quality, tasty and of sufficient quantity despite their gastronomic profile. The addition may seem high but seems justified. Thank you for this place.

Rémy au service excellent de professionalisme, l'accueil de Mélanie au moment de la réservation Adorable ainsi qu'Amelia. Bien sûr le cadre est beau avec une vue sur la vallée... Mais on ne va pas au resto pour la déco mais pour l'assiette et ce que nous avons mangé était excellent surtout pour le prix final. Alors un infini MERCI et à bientôt. Excellente saison à vous tous.
