Restaurant very well located at the foot of the ramparts. Shaded and very good lunch. Discovering the trout: excellent! The baby squid were also very good. Highly recommended!

It's a place with a special charm; it fills up quickly. I asked if I could reserve a table, and the lady told me it was now or never. In other words, I'd better take advantage of the fact that there were still tables available. I had the vegetable soup, which comes with pieces of meat. It was just like homemade stew; I highly recommend it. For my main course, I had the confit pork loin, which was very tender and juicy. The lady who served us was very kind, and we were able to communicate using a translator. Don't miss this homey restaurant if you're in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The service is fast and very attentive to the diners. Highly recommended.

19/09/2026: Absolutely fine. A bit pricey (I suppose the setting, the river, and SJPDP have a lot to do with it!). The road running alongside is a bit of a downside to the atmosphere. Overall, a very positive review.

10/08/2026: Fantastic experience! The coffee is excellent, as is the service. The manager is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!
10/08/2026: Looking for a coffee shop, I stumbled upon this place. What a stroke of luck! Excellent coffee! And to top it all off, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. When I ran out of water, he didn't hesitate to refill my water bottle several times and gave me great tips for exploring the area. I highly recommend it!
