The best pizza I have ever had in France! You should not expect lower price as in Italy. Pizza price is between 17-25Eur.

We had dinner tonight at this restaurant that we found online. I've never eaten in such a good restaurant, not even in Italy. I recommend it 200%! The staff is exceptional and the food is exquisite.

Our small team drifted into Gusto Italiano with the vague intention of having a sensible dinner. Pre-conference discipline and all that. That lasted until the lasagna arrived. It had the quiet confidence of something that’s been made the same way for years, and sees no reason to start explaining itself now. Across the table, colleagues were happily working through pizzas and pasta dishes of various shapes and seriousness, the sort of food that makes conversation drift in and out without anyone noticing. The host, a genial Sicilian who seemed to read the room like a good referee, checked in from time to time with a smile that suggested he knew how the evening would end before we did. At one point he reappeared holding a lemoncello and tequila shot combination which, on paper, sounded like a misunderstanding. In practice, it felt like wisdom. Somewhere between the last forkful of lasagna and that unexpected double act of citrus and courage, the whole table relaxed in the way teams sometimes do just before a busy few days begin. Nothing about the place tries too hard. The food is honest, the welcome is warm, and the evening moves along at its own pace. If you happen to find yourself in Cannes with an appetite that may or may not be under control, you could do worse than wander in and see what the Sicilian recommends.

Arrived one evening on a whim. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and guided us through our choices. We ate very well: a €20 pizza and delicious Italian pasta. Just one minor complaint: the parmesan container was practically empty (they hadn't checked it), and the hot sauce wasn't really spicy. It was also very noisy; a table of six retirees seemed to think they were the only guests. A shame, otherwise it would have been a 5-star experience.

Authentic Italian restaurant Quality cuisine

This was our second time here tonight, and just like the first time, we thoroughly enjoyed it! The pizzas are incredible, and the ravioli are simply divine. Friendly staff. Nothing to complain about.

Very good food, friendly staff, all Italians, I tried pizza (wood-fired) and parmigiana, both very good.
