St Gilles was a great find for our team while we were in Le Mans scouting a few shops. We stopped there for lunch and were truly impressed: a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly service. The dishes were fresh, generous, and full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served without too much of a wait (perfect for us in the middle of a busy workday). You can tell it's a genuine local spot, not a tourist trap. I highly recommend St Gilles if you're in this part of Le Mans – ideal for a tasty and unpretentious lunch during a busy day in the city. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

Incredible St. Gilles steak with its delicious cheddar sauce, a very nice surprise, and the dessert is also very, very good, the pear and chocolate cup is generous. Simple homemade cuisine, very good.

10/11/2025: A very nice little restaurant with welcoming and friendly staff. The food was excellent; we recommend the salmon appetizer with the casserole! The atmosphere is warm and inviting! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

18/10/2024: We are offered to have an aperitif ok we ask for the card to have a drink, we are told that there is no card, you just have to ask me I have everything in my head however no price we blind order we scan the QR code on a table and there are not all the prices, it's average🤔 A hamburger (very good) and a glass of rosé 20€50
13/10/2024: Very good restaurant for lunch. The daily specials are always well seasoned. Possibility of falling back on burgers as there are no more daily specials. The only downside, the room is quite noisy when there are people and there are often people because it is very good!!
