We had lunch at SATSUKI. It was just like a normal lunch in Japan. Chawanmushi is also delicious. Then we walked around the city of Chamonix.

Very authentic but reasonable Japanese restaurant. Don't waste your money somewhere else to have awful food but visit Satsuki. You won't be disappointed. Lunch set menu is wonderful. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had been traveling in Europe for 3 weeks and were craving some Japanese food so gave Satsuki a go and was not disappointed! The food was so good and traditional in a good way! Definitely a hidden gem in Chamonix. A lot of people were ordering take out which is always a good sign. We will definitely be coming back when we make another trip to Chamonix.

Expectations were high because of the good ratings, but it's just an average restaurant. The food is average. The service is a bit frustrating.

Un excellent japonais découvert à Chamonix. Un excellent qualité / prix. Tout est très goûteux, des plats très bien cuisinés et il n’y a pas que des sushis.

Belle cuisine japonaise en plein Chamonix, à prix doux. On y trouve d'autres plats que les sushis, il y a un vrai plaisir à faire découvrir à la clientèle des plats rarement servis en Europe, et de bons sakés. Un bel endroit, où l'on est reçu avec le sourire.

12/12/2025: Every dish was fantastic - The new Winterr menu is awesome, i recommend artichoke dish and the steak! lovely cocktails too
11/12/2025: We were seated across an extremely noisy group of young women in a small room, they talked so loudly we heard every word they said, but not our own conversation. Even our waitress winced at the level of noise they were making - we asked politely if they could request the guests to lower their voices but they chose not to. Didn’t stay for dessert as it was very unpleasant.

31/08/2024: I went there with my family after our visit to the Mer de Glace, as it was super close to the train station. The food was outstanding, real quality. We ordered the vegetable curry rice and ramen. For our kids the ramen for kids was fantastic as well. The mochi were great too! Totally recommended
