Smithys Tavern sur Huez

Loud place with a lot of happy people. The food is good but service is a little bit slow. Loud music with a big bar if that’s what you’re looking for 😀

This is your typical sports bar that gets very crowded, very noisy, but with a really good lively atmosphere. They'll have two games of football on if they clash and you get lots of different people in there. The food is very good, there isn't anything that isn't done well, good value and good portions. One downside, I had the brilliant mixed grill, they don’t tell you when you’re ordering, but some reason the chef wants to put garlic butter on absolutely everything, so if like me you don't like it, ask upfront.

Overall, it's a great spot with friendly servers, a fantastic DJ, and they also broadcast football matches. I'd recommend it, but i would advisable to make a reservation if you plan to dine there.

Extremely odd policies. Walk-ins, you can sit at a free table but they refuse to take your order until the table they book in for you becomes available. So we get our table after half an hour. Next, they only want to bring the entire order out together, no matter how hungry you are. Anyways 45m and much convincing later gets us our starters. Friendly and polite staff through all this I'll add.

No faults here, service with a smile, Shauna was very helpful! lovely staff and the food is good to, all in all a really enjoyable visit to Smithys, I'll be back some day.

Loved this place! The food was so good and the staff are super friendly! I had a waitress called Shauna and she was lovely! Really helpful with the menu and attentive to our table 100% coming back for the food 10/10

Plus de 15 ans que nous venons dans ce resto ambiance pub anglais. L ambiance est toujours sympa mais la nourriture s est beaucoup dégradée ces dernières années. 0 plats cuisinés, uniquement du fast food réchauffé ! A utiliser en bar tapas mais pas en restaurant. Service très sympa.
