Beautiful bar with a Basque atmosphere. There are occasional concerts and the food is also exceptional.

Everything was perfect! The welcome, the service, and the food. The welcome was warm and the prices were affordable, while the dishes were excellent, in true Basque style! I highly recommend it! There's nothing to complain about, a real favorite in the Basque Country!

Lovely place in the center of Ascain. Had the menu of the day for €25 and chose duck breast with fries and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was delicious. The ambiance is nice too

04/11/2025: A very pleasant experience in this welcoming restaurant on the village square, run by two friendly and attentive owners. It has a real "homey" atmosphere with its wooden tables and a menu of generous and varied dishes, including some Basque specialties. Good value for money, not to mention the homemade fries. "The meat is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth, sourced from a local Basque butcher," one of the owners told me. The service is efficient and courteous, allowing you to take the time to experience the rhythm of the region and exchange tips for exploring the Basque Country. We'll definitely be back for another delicious meal and this quintessential Basque experience.
30/09/2025: Restaurant close to hotels, easy to find for lunch or dinner. The menu is simple, the products fresh and well-cooked. Very good value for money

30/01/2026: We've stayed at this hotel several times as a family; the family rooms are perfect for large families. The staff are lovely.
11/11/2025: Impeccable service; my association and I have rented the reception hall twice for our AGM, and it's been perfect!
