21/03/2024: And no, it wasn't at Mario's, the plumber well-known in the gaming world, that we were eaten, but at a pretty little Italian restaurant in St Quentin! The restaurant is very well decorated with a nice little Italian charm which is very appreciable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very charming and we feel good there (even if in our table we could sometimes hear the noises of the chef working a little loudly). The food is really good, a big treat for the carb pasta, and the homemade tiramisu is not bad (although for my taste it smelled a little too much of coffee and not enough of the stuff). The waitresses are professional and pleasant which quickly puts us at ease! An Italian restaurant that I highly recommend!

11/05/2024: Endroit typique, plein de couleurs et d odeurs épicées. Habitués au couscous à emporter, nous avons décidé de dîner sur place. Accueil très sympathique, et cuisine excellente. La semoule une pure merveille. A renouveler sans hésiter.

01/03/2024: Very well prepared fish with perfect cooking. The risotto is also very good but not generous enough (in terms of quantity) for my taste. I would like to point out that a very large table was present the day I was there, resulting in slightly overwhelmed servers (we did not have our bottles of water) and a very noisy room.

01/04/2024: We had a great family time at St Vincent for Easter. Came with two babies and everything was planned for them. Kind staff, good food and more than generous portions. We will come back without hesitation!

31/03/2024: Reservation made for 2 people for this Easter Sunday, when ordering, we were informed of only one menu for that day, without having informed us during the reservation on the telephone. Following our aperitif, with its appetizer, the starter arrives immediately... Very average dishes which do not reflect the catchy titles, bite of elastic and not crispy snail, dry and overcooked fish, and I am always looking for my morels on the plate, the lamb bathing in a deep plate filled with flageolets with the great difficulty of cutting it without exploding all of it, with the pompom as an Easter dessert. Strawberry brioche accompanied by a scoop of white chocolate ice cream with coulis. The brioche turns out to be a slice of sandwich bread cut in half and fried with ? And 3 tasty half-strawberries anyway. Very long service, the waiter is overwhelmed, takes care of all the tables in his sector, obliged to ask him for bread and fresh water. All this for the sum of €95. First and last experience in this restaurant. Very disappointed with this one 😞 😞 😞

04/05/2024: Always a pleasure to come and eat in this Moroccan restaurant! Pleasant staff, excellent couscous, generous portions. Moroccan cakes are very good. Delicious mint tea and served in the traditional way! I highly recommend this restaurant ! 👍👍

06/04/2024: Nice location, not very nice when 30 children are running around screaming at 1am in the garden and hallways. The ‘owners’ were incredibly rude and shouted at guests unprovoked.

04/03/2024: Restaurant review only: We came for lunch and my memory of this restaurant is mixed. Indeed, when we arrived at the estate, we immediately noticed at the entrance near the door accumulated trash cans as well as wooden crates, which quickly told me that maintenance is not the keystone of the place. Once parked, to access the restaurant we cross a large courtyard which also lacks a lot of maintenance: clogged fountain, poorly or untrimmed trees, completely abandoned children's games, old ghost stables. The first impression is chilling and clearly denotes the restaurant which seems recent and well-maintained. Except that, before even going through the door we come across the tables on the terrace, stacked because not used at this season and full of bird droppings. Not very famous before returning. The welcome is warm, but, first false note, we are not offered to take our coats, so we sit with them on the armchairs. The menus are then explained to us and the tasting begins. Overall, we are satisfied with the dishes and the service. A few false notes however: the bread served with butter as an aperitif is so grier that it is impossible to eat, we will leave it on the table. Second point, you better like truffle because as an aperitif: small truffle baskets, truffle butter and truffle mimosa bread and egg. But, if you are still lacking truffle, we offer you.... A croque tartuffade as a starter. Is there a truffle patch in the garden? Concerning the interior of the restaurant, the decoration is quite pretty, sober while remaining elegant, however big downside for the fairly loud music throughout the meal, the smell of toilet deodorizer which comes from it and spreads throughout the room to the detriment of the tastes and smells of the dishes, the absence of glides under the chairs which make a lot of noise, and silent casters under the cheese cart. It's the little details that make great restaurants, for me, here, we are in a restaurant which applies gourmet prices and which wants to be so but which does not live up to customers' expectations. PS: no network at Bouygues inside the walls, if you want to be reachable this can prove complicated.

05/05/2024: With our 730pm reservation on a Saturday in May, we had a very enjoyable dinner at this very nice locally popular fine dining French restaurant in Septmonts near Soissons in France. The Auberge de la Louviere was very accommodating for our party of four with two small and very well behaved dogs by seating us at a large table normally setup for 8 so we could keep the dogs under our table with plenty of room. Upon arrival, we were the only table occupied but within an hour, every table was taken in a very clean and comfortable restaurant with a very nice ambiance. Overall, the food and service were very good, and the higher prices (40+ Euros/person) for menu items is what one expects at a popular fine dining French restaurant such as the Auberge de la Louviere. Here are few highlights of the menu items we enjoyed: Amuse Buche - Escargot in a carrot sauce were tender and tasty Le foie gras de canard... was very tasty and well prepared with the small strawberry compote and Sichuan pepper Les asperges chaudes... were also very tasty and well prepared served hot on the plate Le gravlax de saumon... was delicious Le ceviche de thon rouge... was quite tasty and one of the best civiches we've tasted Filet de boeuf, sauce poivre was tender, tasty, and perfectly cooked med rare “a point” as requested with a delicious pepper sauce Le rognon de veau...were also very well prepared, served hot and quite tasty La rhubarbe confite, madeleine et cremeux pistache was a very nice way to end our fine dining experience at Auberge de la Louviere. We've visited this restaurant a few years ago and we'll likely return again to see what new and inspiring items have been added to the menu. If you are looking for an excellent fine dining experience near Soissons, this popular restaurant is the place to come.

25/03/2024: Not rating the hotel, but only the restaurant. Food was amazing.we had a menu with foie gras, duck magret and dessert. All was absolutely great, seasoned to perfection. They have an excellent wine list with local champagne from a few wineries next door. Service was great too. And the location is absolutely gorgeous, looking into a beautiful valley. Definitely worth the experience.

28/03/2024: I don't usually post comments at all but here! But the ! It deserves my full attention. In addition to being a friendly space with more than validated musical choices, the servers are more than perfect generosity and devotion. And what about the kitchen! Ohlala, I'm a big eater and there, I found myself more than satisfied! With buckwheat pancakes and wheat pancakes garnished up to the neck!! And tasty at the same time. I recommend with your eyes closed. Best restaurant in Laon!

27/03/2024: Great time, warm setting, very friendly and helpful server. Unbeatable value for money, a superb discovery in the small town of Laon. Go there with your eyes closed if you are looking for a creperie worthy of the name!
