01/11/2026: So here I am, back in Liège, and I really wanted to share my opinion, not out of malice, but rather to help you, because it's necessary. I ordered the daily special: flammequiche, beer, and dessert. The flammequiche arrived after 40 minutes. The three waitresses were friendly but completely overwhelmed (one of them was yelling at the bartender from 10 meters away...talk about deafening!). The owner or franchisee (in a white shirt)...I don't know...sent to the kitchen to urgently help out. It only got worse. I had ordered a gourmet coffee, but I only received the coffee. When I went to pay the bill, I asked what had happened, and one of the waitresses told the other that she should have asked for it. In short, I left very disappointed, with no compensation other than the memory of the white beer from Lille, because the lukewarm flammequiche was a disaster. The mushrooms were thinly sliced ​​and black...not good. The potatoes and cheese (a little) were just okay. Basically, you were all overwhelmed (except for the bartender) and missed the mark. This service...nothing like it to lose customers forever... Good luck...the decor is nice...what a shame.

15/10/2026: I came here a few years ago, frankly it's nothing like it used to be... The food is swimming in grease, it has no taste, extremely disappointed, I do not recommend it!

13/09/2026: Good, hearty food. For my part, I had veal kidneys, very well cooked, plus a rum, raisin, and banana ice cream. The only downside was that the dish was served too quickly; there wasn't time to finish my aperitif!

20/10/2026: The setting and staff were pleasant. The food was very good, I just regret that some plates were served more generously than others. (Some customers had three pieces of lamb, but we had two?!) In short, the portions of both the main courses and side dishes (lamb and stuffed tomato) were insufficient. And let's not even mention the pear and chocolate tart (delicious) which was ridiculously small. Disappointing value for money.

20/09/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate a surprise birthday and had a wonderful evening 🎉 The food was delicious and plentiful, the welcome was fantastic, and the service was truly impeccable. A tailor-made evening, perfectly organized, which made the occasion even more special. A huge thank you to Émilie for her kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Thanks to her, everything was perfect! We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant 🙂.

10/10/2026: Arriving early meant we were able to eat without any problems. The mussels with Maroilles cheese were very good, the fries a little less so. We had a very good time.

He has mastered his craft and welcomes his customers with warmth and kindness. The service is quick and efficient, without ever compromising on quality. The pizzas are delicious, very flavorful, made with quality ingredients and a perfectly executed dough. Special mention goes to the crust, which is wonderfully crispy and truly excellent! A place where you can taste the love of the craft in every pizza.

The well-balanced wine complemented the meal perfectly, and the experience concluded with a soothing cup of linden tea and a complimentary drink. It was such a relief to find a place still open at 10 pm, especially after arriving at 9:30 pm from Madrid. The outdoor seating in a quaint and picturesque square added to the overall charm. 26/08/2026: After a bad experience at a neighboring restaurant, we decided to try La Table du Safran. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, especially the two waitresses who asked if everything was alright 👍 The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the wait was quick, and we enjoyed truly excellent mussels marinière, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Thank you to the chef who delighted us! 😝 I also noted the excellent value for money! We will definitely be back! You can go there without hesitation 😎

07/09/2026: As regular customers of this restaurant for the past two years, drawn to its cozy decor, we have been very disappointed on several occasions. The menus are no longer of the same quality, and the seating arrangements imposed by the waiters have been a major issue. We had reserved a table for two in a non-smoking area, but we had no choice but to dine on the patio surrounded by several smokers. I'm not criticizing the smokers themselves, but rather the impossibility of protecting oneself from the elements. Not only are these internal policies illegal, but after two bouts with cancer, I believe I have the right to a non-smoking area, as required by law. Extremely disappointed. Our evening was ruined. The price is exorbitant and doesn't reflect the quality of the service. Not to mention the ever-present and far too loud music. Avoid this place.
