16/03/2026: My second home 🥰 Amazing servers and atmosphere!!!

15/03/2026: Upon arrival, we were given the menu and seated on the first floor. We saw the waiter once to take our order and a second time to bring it to us. Then we had to go downstairs to get another drink. We also wanted to order tapas, but since no one else was coming, we went downstairs and paid. However, unlike the previous two evenings, it was quieter; there were fewer people this Saturday night. The experience would certainly have been different if we had been seated downstairs. The tapas and drinks were very good.

17/05/2026: We came in August 2025 before the change of ownership and had a wonderful evening with an excellent dinner and very good wine. Then we returned in May 2026. What a mistake! Mr. Meneyrol, it's time to turn your establishment around! The food is bland. The deviled eggs are deviled eggs in name only, the sausage is far from being from the Auvergne region, and the steak tartare is coarsely chopped and greasy. The dishes are cold. There wasn't a proper knife for cutting a steak, just a steel one. The wine we chose wasn't available, "no more bottles," and there was no still spring water, "just tap water," as one of the waiters mentioned. The waiters were lost and very often looking for the table to bring the dish to. In short, what a waste to have turned such a beautiful establishment into what it has become.

14/05/2026: But what a gem! I had the chance to rediscover Cambodian cuisine, and I was incredibly surprised. Just remember to bring cash; they don't accept credit cards. That was the only slight drawback :3

09/05/2026: Aside from the fish swimming upside down, the atmosphere is pleasant. The welcome and service are very friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. The food didn't particularly excite me, but at this price, it's still acceptable because it's very honest.

02/06/2026: Our room was in the attic, quite small, and not very comfortable. The bathroom, however, was new, large, and excellent. The location near the park is a real plus: about 300 meters away, less than a 5-minute walk. A large public parking lot just around the corner makes choosing this hotel an easy decision. (Low fee, free at night)

03/05/2026: Impeccable service, a full breakfast, and a very friendly and attentive staff. The room was clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town opposite the church, allowing you to get around without a car throughout your stay. The spa was also very pleasant. We will definitely return! Thank you!

23/04/2026: Disappointing and outdated setting, grumpy welcome, crepes not served but thrown on the table! Absolutely avoid.

17/03/2026: Very good and generous crepes served with good cider. They don't accept credit cards, just so you know. Friendly welcome.

05/05/2026: Very bad experience. Tuesday, May 5th We were a table of two and we only received one round of food… for a total of €59. This is simply unacceptable. The manager explained that the owner was alone in the kitchen, which I can understand, but that doesn't justify such limited service or a long wait for almost nothing. So we decided to leave. When it came time to pay, we were asked if everything was alright: we replied that it wasn't. The manager herself noted that most of our dishes never arrived. We asked for a gesture of goodwill, but she told us that she couldn't do anything, that only the owner had the authority, and that she couldn't get away. Paying €59 for a single round of food and no compensation is truly disappointing. We won't be back. One star because we had no other choice…

01/06/2026: If I could, I wouldn't even give it one star. We were in Vichy for the big Sunday Brocante market. We thought we'd grab a quick bite, so we ended up here (what a shame). The special of the day was a salad with rice (cold, overcooked, probably thawed), avocado served with the skin still on, cold chicken curry that wasn't cooked through but was still pink, and roughly chopped raw onion. The waiter cleaned his nails before setting the table for us. When serving the salad, no attention was paid to any intolerances or allergies. The price compared to the quality of the food is shameful, more than €30 for a poor and unhygienic kitchen. Don't eat there even if you have no other option.

09/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at this bar/restaurant. The waitress was extremely unpleasant from beginning to end: sighing, rolling her eyes when we asked for something, and generally disrespectful. We asked for water several times but were never served, to the point where we had to go get it ourselves from the bar. It's a shame because the atmosphere of the place could be pleasant, but the service completely ruined the experience.

23/03/2026: Cozy cafe and nice products. One major drawback: a blue-paned window in the restroom that looks directly behind the counter! Yes, the owner can see you on the toilet! This raises some questions ❓️ Major red flag! It seems that in 15 years, we're the first to complain about this... We've reported it to the local police.

22/03/2026: An unusual café in a very old town house. A peaceful place.

31/05/2026: In our opinion and to our taste, the snacks are far too expensive. The bacon sandwiches were of poor quality. 7 euros: bread, egg, and bacon.

02/05/2026: The 3 different pastries we ordered to take away were simply delicious, great flavors, nice textures, not too sweet, lovely presentation and a reasonable price, we will be back!!

02/10/2025: Apparently there's been a change of ownership. Burnt fries, terrible service, nobody even came to take our order. I much prefer the old restaurant, it was a thousand times better.

23/09/2025: A very nice place, I highly recommend it. The service is excellent! It really makes you want to go back; the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. If you want a good kebab, this is clearly the best in Vichy.
