06/04/2024: First we had no reservation and they found us a table and were so friendly about it. This was one of the best meals I’ve eaten. Our main server was so friendly and knowledgeable and the staff backing him up were just as nice. We couldn’t have had a better experience. They should have a Michelin star.
05/04/2024: Beautiful place, friendly welcome. Very good meal, perhaps lacking a little creativity. Wine list where an amateur can find what he is looking for.

04/04/2024: Absolute great experience with Restaurant Le J, the owner was super friendly and patiently explained the whole menu in English. The menu was designed based on the fresh ingredients they get on the day and was presented in a creative way. The main courses (especially the prawn dish) had multiple layers of flavours and textures that worked out well. The dessert was a bomb and a must try! The caramelised hazelnuts on top was a highlight.
It is relatively pricy but it matches with the quality you get. Overall it’s very worth it!

27/03/2024: We really had high expectations for this restaurant having passed it in the day and made a reservation. We arrived at 8:00 and had a good reception. We sat at a lovely table, great ambiance but then didn't receive our food for an hour and 10 minutes. Then we suddenly received our main course without any starter. No apology made. Just expected to carry on with our main. There was a set menu so on the final bill they had only removed €3 each when a starter is more like 12 Euros each. We paid and left disappointed. Wouldn't recommend, food was mediocre and service poor, there are far better restaurants in Antibe.

28/03/2024: Very nice little, simple, restaurant, with friendly service. Delicious burgers. It took a little long time to prepare the food, but it was worth waiting.
20/03/2024: Outdoor seating, which is lovely in a nice day. The place is nothing to run home about. A little hole in the wall. Owners/staff very friendly.
Was very happy to find this location open and serving when most other places had closed for lunch already.
Tried two items: veggie burger w/fries & chicken burger. I’d have to say the bun was the best part. Fresh and soft. The rest of the food was greasy. The fries were a little soggy or extra crisp but really greasy. Maybe I would go back to try a regular burger and get a side salad instead. It worked for needing a spot to relax for a moment and get something in the belly.

22/03/2024: Slightly disappointed with the experience. The deco is amazing and there's a lot of attention to details.
However the New "concept" for food is nothing else but small tasty food portions (it's good but it's small) and even with a starter/main/side you could still end up feeling unsatisfied. We also had to wait unusually longer for our dishes to arrive and our drinks order was forgotten.
While I like the deco and the location (which is probably what you pay for) , plenty of other restaurants will offer a much better value for money on the food and the drinks.
16/01/2024: We had dinner with friends on a weeknight.
It was as cold inside as outside! The waiters themselves suffered from the cold despite their down jackets.
How can we welcome customers in these conditions?! Who wants to pay €60 for their meal not to enjoy it?
We wrote an email to management to inform them of this experience but there was no response.

Still great atmosphere with live music.
I recommend.
09/03/2024: False advertising. This place is supposed to be a jazz bar. The drinks are named after jazz artists - and they are good - BUT they refuse to play jazz. Apparently the owner hates jazz. He must have inherited this bar from someone with taste. Also we were there on a Saturday. and there was no live music.
The staff was nice but the owner was rude and refused to play even one jazz song.

01/04/2024: First positive experience. Cuisine with topette flavors, welcome but the fish was too small.
Second fairly negative experience. Quite bland dishes and ridiculous quantity for a very high price. 5 small scallops and a few small slices of truffles for €59…and I have a small appetite! Vegetables…rare…
Unfortunately we have to ask for more water… we will not go back there and I regret it..

11/10/2023: It's a great place, it's friendly and the family team is very friendly. We ate very well. The products are fresh and well cooked. Socca on Wednesday and Saturday lunchtime. Pizzas cooked over a wood fire. The tartare is very good.
