23/07/2024: We had such an enjoyable time at Babel Babel, we came back the next day, where we were also able to have a great view of the Tour De France, thanks to the excellent hospitality of the owner. The food was some of the best we had during our stay in Nice and we were glad to see they had a great natural wine list. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t have been more attentive.

16/07/2024: This place rocks! Awesome cocktails, great staff, amazing bites and the perfect location on the Main Street with great water views! Each bite was flavor packed and was so tasty, highly recommended doing yourself a major favor and getting a Ressie here when visiting Nice!! 02/09/2024: Rude service at the reception, small rooms and the smell of smoke, poor quality of meals

31/08/2024: This hotel was cheaper than many of the other local options, and I think it was well worth it. The rooms are very small and the hotel is a bit dated, but the lobby is nice, good breakfast buffet, and the staff are all very friendly! The receptionist was fluently bilingual which was helpful. The A/C worked reasonably well, so the room was comfortable.

19/03/2026: I'm giving one star because it wouldn't be possible to give 0. We came with a school group and every night the food was awful, and we found hair in the food several times. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 The waiters were polite, the place was very dirty, and the kids felt so ill afterwards that they stayed up all night! This place needs to close down.

09/01/2026: We were there with a tour group ages ago. It was a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly back then, and so was the owner. But we haven't been back for at least 20 years. Things have certainly changed since then.

30/09/2023: Apparently this restaurant has two lives... The one described by the people who visibly enjoyed hearty and tasty meals, typically Portuguese, and the one we experienced, a meal worthy of an average quality canteen, nothing more. So, if you are tempted by Portuguese cuisine and want to try the "Bar du Rocher", give them a call first to find out if it's a Chef Jekyll day (Sunday, for families?) or a day Hyde Canteen.

21/11/2024: Very dirty clothes on the saleswoman and on the man who bakes the bread. How is this possible, the clothes probably haven’t been washed for a year. Pay attention!!!!

14/10/2024: Rude and disrespectful salespeople, review your education before wanting to work and serve customers. One day you will meet someone you will regret your attitude

30/10/2024: La peor sucursal de Mc Donald en la Tierra. 30 minutos esperando nuestra orden para conseguir que se enfríe y de mal gusto. Falta de personal, lugar sucio. Evita esta rama

09/09/2024: Als we even in Nice rondgewandeld hebben moeten we plassen. Dus, even naar de mc voor een ijsje, een milkshake en een toiletbezoek.

26/09/2024: The products are great but don't ask the saleswoman questions, it bothers her and friendliness is not her strong point.

24/09/2024: A small store that deserves to be known! Low prices for great quality! The saleswoman is great! Thanks to her!!

27/06/2024: After spending time finding this restaurant which was recommended by our tour guide we were told the kitchen was closed .. it was just before 10pm so was v disappointed considering opening hours were until 00:00 … cannot comment on the food as I didn’t have the opportunity to try it !!

16/06/2024: Every time we walked past it looked super busy so we decided the book. The hype is understandable as the food was spectacular and all the waiters are lovely and the owner too! The only comment i would make is that they were out of stock on a couple things but they more than made up for that!
