30/09/2026: A truly special and beautiful restaurant... The burgers are American-style, and you can choose medium or well-done. We ordered the medium well burger, 10/10! It comes with fries and a choice of Parmesan or plain, and everything is absolutely delicious.

18/08/2026: I discovered this place because I lived nearby and ended up spending a lot of time there 🌹👌. What I love most is the warm welcome from the owners. Behind this big guy is a big heart ♥️ and his smaller, petite partner takes great care of both the menu and her big guy. The clientele is amazing; there are just as many high school students as there are older folks. In any case, it's the place to have a laugh 😂, get indignant, eat a good piece of meat 🥩, drink a cold beer or a delicious milkshake 🍻

17/08/2026: Passing through Bonneville, I discovered this place and had a wonderful meal in a really friendly atmosphere. The owner and waitress were attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this place. André

19/09/2026: During a bike ride from Taninges to the Col de la Joux Verte via Montriond, we ate at Le Chaudron on the descent, and it was definitely worth it, as the plate of potato galettes was incredibly generous. Between the galettes, the salad, and the various charcuterie, neither Eric nor I managed to finish everything. The waitress was energetic and smiling, we were served quickly, but it wasn't as crowded as it would be during peak season. I've known Les Lindarets for a long time; this is my fourth visit in 20 years, and the goats are always the main attraction of this little village.

20/09/2026: After we arrived in Chamonix, we had lunch there. Lasagne and a Tiramisu to be exact. They were really good. After finishing the TMB we had lunch there again. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. They kindly refilled our water bottles for free as well. The views were also nice. Great place ❤️

13/09/2026: Nice spot for a tasty dinner and beer. We were able to sit down right away around 1800 on a weekday. We chose to sit outside, which provided some fun people watching and energy. We got a burger and salmon salad, I would definitely recommend both! My sister really liked the hard kombucha they carry.

15/09/2026: We came during the off-season (mid-September). So there was no wait at the bar and the pizza service was incredibly fast. The cocktail wasn't to my taste, poorly balanced (I only tasted the rum in my piña colada; I'm still looking for the coconut flavor). The pizzas are very good, with a light and airy yet crispy crust; and very generously topped. We'll be back!

09/09/2026: Stumbled across this place while cycling to Lac de Montriond. Tuesday night was their last BYO Bbq 🍖 so we grabbed some meat from the shop next door and chef cooked our food perfectly. You could help yourself to bread, coleslaw, potato salad and condiments. We had a fab evening and met some great people. ✌️

05/09/2026: Great food, great service, great vibes. La marmotte d’or is a truly special spot, the interior is cozy and welcoming and the sprawling terrace has gorgeous views of the mountains; the sunsets here are stunning! The food is very well-portioned and reasonably priced with some good vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a good variety of drinks: beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails. The bar regularly hosts events and concerts so it’s a great place to spend a fun evening. The staff is very friendly and all speak French and English. If you’re in or around Montriond it is truly worth the stop!

04/09/2026: The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the cooking and smoking were expertly executed. The chef is passionate, and it shows in the food. The service was pleasant and efficient. Well done to the whole team! 👌 I highly recommend it.

23/08/2026: A fantastic discovery! 🍔✨ Even though we're from the area, we didn't know about this place, which is a real shame! The gentleman serving was incredibly kind; it was a genuine pleasure to be welcomed like that. The food was flawless: burgers made with real cheddar (a real treat!), and the pulled beef was simply amazing. Special mention goes to the fries, which were also incredible. A local spot we wholeheartedly recommend. Can't wait to go back!
