31/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at Annabella's. The pizzas are generous, delicious, and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The homemade lasagna and desserts are superb. Francette, Julie, and of course Annabelle and Benoît will ensure you have a wonderful time. I recommend it 200%!

30/01/2026: We ordered two pizzas and two pasta dishes. Our plates were empty. The staff who greeted and served us were very friendly. The service was quick. My only regret is that they didn't have a cherry beer on the menu, like Kasteel Rouge or Kwak Cherry.

01/10/2025: Small but very clean restaurant, and above all the kebabs are EXCELLENT! The meat is grilled just right, the homemade white sauce is so good, and the best part is the cabbage in addition to the salad, a delight! The quantity of meat and fries is calculated exactly as needed to satisfy a good appetite, but not excessive, so no waste. In short, I really recommend it. Try it and you'll love it!

29/10/2025: We had lunch on the terrace of the "Brasserie Ducale" restaurant in Charleville-Mézières during our cycling trip along the Meuse in June. The friendly and welcoming staff greeted us warmly. The menu is classic, but the dishes are varied: the beef tartare, perfectly prepared, and a refreshing salad (melon, watermelon, avocado, cucumber, ham, and cherry tomatoes) were all delicious and generous portions, and the service was impeccable. The dishes were served with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for cyclists. Excellent value for money.

15/02/2026: Everything's gone wrong! Absolutely! The €56 Valentine's Day menu consisted of two tiny scallops drowning in a thick, sticky risotto—a real mess, as the locals from the Ardennes would say. The red mullet was tasteless, accompanied by two very dry prawns, served with tagliatelle and a medley of vegetables you'd find at a discount store. And to top it all off, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, three dollops of whipped cream, and four or five Amarena cherries—what a waste of time! A rip-off at that price. The only positive point was the wine selection. Not even a white tablecloth on the table—Valentine's Day, no less! In short, a restaurant to avoid at all costs; the best thing to do is not to go in.

15/02/2026: A Valentine's Day evening to avoid at all costs. When we arrived at our table, the amuse-bouches were already on the table: fish included!! How long had they been there?? The menus were written in faded marker, and the waiters/cooks were not very clean. The atmosphere was very noisy and not at all intimate. There was no decoration except for one candle and a few gold hearts on the table. The dining room was quite cold, and even worse in the only restroom!! The first version of the menu was very good, but the second was worthy of a fast-food chain: a tasteless duck terrine, a plate of pasta with two prawns and two small red mullet fillets, and vanilla ice cream for dessert, although it did have very good Amarena cherries and thick whipped cream. We remembered a chic, well-regarded brasserie with delicious dishes... the owner must have changed... only the waitress was excellent.

15/02/2026: Excellent welcome, we were seated in the cellar, but it was very chilly. We ordered a Valentine's Day cocktail, and our main courses arrived just as quickly. No drinks were offered. My potatoes in the goat cheese salad (without goat cheese, as requested 😆) were cold. The lighting was poor, making it difficult to see what was on the plates. Nevertheless, the portions were very generous, and the staff were truly excellent. I could have bothered them by sending the dish back, but I didn't want to. It's just that the dish arrived far too quickly.

09/02/2026: At La Fabrique, a fast-food restaurant on Place Ducale, I ordered nuggets, tenders, a burger, and two drinks. I waited 40 minutes, not even during the peak rush (no queue). The waitress didn't listen to my order, kept forgetting things (this is a recurring problem; we pay, but she forgets items), and sulked when we asked for them. Not to mention the cooks who only seemed interested in blasting music, snickering, and complaining. The burger had two slices of tomato as big as the patty, a potato patty, and grilled nuggets.

10/10/2025: Very good tapas meal, the products are fresh and of high quality and the charcuterie is very good. The staff are very attentive and very friendly. We will come back with pleasure. Thank you for this evening.

20/12/2025: Located on the corner near the Town Hall, it was a place we used to go regularly with colleagues. Unfortunately, on three occasions, we had problems with the food. The first time, we had to change our dish due to a freshness issue, which the chef disputed despite our complaint. Another time, we had the same problem with fish. The day we finally gave up on it, we waited over 30 minutes for ice cream we had ordered at lunchtime, when our time was limited, only to find out they were out. We left and never went back. It's a shame, because the place itself is quite nice.

03/10/2025: The establishment stands out for its warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The staff is particularly attentive and pleasant. ​However, the culinary experience was uneven. While some of the à la carte offerings (starters, main courses, and desserts) are of a very high standard and fully justify their price, several others have high prices that are clearly disproportionate to the quality served.

25/02/2026: A complete disaster, and I mean it. 7:15 pm on a school holiday evening, the dessert and starter buffet was empty, there was no bread, they told us to wait 10 minutes, but in the end, we ate without any! When you want your meat, someone else gets it before you, forcing you to wait another 10 minutes even though the stovetop was practically broken. There were four of us, and we ate at different times. This restaurant is to be avoided at all costs and should have been closed a long time ago. The prices are far too high for what you get.
