28/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, just steps from the train station. We enjoyed a beautiful, generous plate of the fish of the day accompanied by a trio of vegetables. Very good, flavorful portions. We finished with homemade tiramisu. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a warm atmosphere. A small suggestion: offering some beers from the Ardennes would be fantastic. Holiday vouchers are accepted! Perfect address, thank you.

11/08/2026: This is a super cozy restaurant with an excellent location in the center of Charleville-Mézières. We sat in the cellar, which was a very cozy and atmospheric setting. The food was delicious and, moreover, beautifully presented. We also received two small, free tasting dishes as a starter, and these were very tasty and surprising every time. Truly a little taste sensation! The apricot dessert is highly recommended. The different flavors complemented each other perfectly. Without a doubt, one of the best desserts I have ever eaten! If we lived in the neighborhood, we would certainly come back; unfortunately, that is not the case!

08/08/2026: A discovery that will have consequences! Making gastronomy accessible to all means allowing everyone to discover flavors, to enhance the emotions evoked by exceptional products, and to remember that the cuisine offered by a chef like Éric Hubert is a skillful blend of tradition, innovation, and history. But it's also a path we must support because it leads to better health for both the individual (through choice and quality of products) and the environment (through respect for seasonal produce). A must-visit if you're in Charleville-Mézières! But perhaps I should say that this establishment justifies a trip to Charleville! Thank you to Éric Hubert, his wife Françoise who coordinates the service with efficiency and kindness, and the entire team! Also, thank you ☺️ for the brief chat at the end of lunch!

27/08/2026: A cozy little eatery (approx. 14 seats), with delicious freshly prepared dishes. No deep-fried food ;) When we were there during the holidays, the owner was working alone, taking orders, serving, preparing the food, and taking the time for a chat; no rush, but no excessive waiting times either. One-man show, chapeau!

14/08/2026: Excellent, intimate restaurant! Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the quality of the food. I highly recommend it and extend our compliments to the chef :)

16/08/2026: We had a reservation for a table on the terrace, but we were seated inside due to a thunderstorm. 🥵🥵 The servers were smiling and very friendly. We were relieved just before dessert when a fan was turned on. The dishes were generous and excellent. We'll definitely be back for a table on the terrace! 😉

14/08/2026: A quick, friendly, and efficient welcome. The service is perfect: professional, efficient, and warm. There's never a wait. They even replace the water carafe when it's not cold. Impressive! And, to top it all off, the food is very good. Fried calamari with a little garlic butter and a fresh green salad. Caesar salad as a main course. Perfect in this heat. The ice cream isn't mass-produced and is delicious. So good, in fact, that we're going back tonight... We were truly impressed by the quality of the service, worthy of a grand hotel, without the pretension or snobbery. A huge congratulations to the entire team. An example for many to follow.

30/08/2026: I had a drink with my children; one of my sons asked for a different glass because it was dirty, and then the second one arrived in the same condition.

17/08/2026: We had a delicious meal here. My husband and I chose to share 3 starters. Gravlax salmon ceviche with citrus fruits and herbs, scallop carpaccio with samphire, and Burrata and tomatoes prepared in three different ways with homemade pesto. A glass of champagne to go with it. Delicious! We truly enjoyed the flavors and the visual presentation of the dishes. My daughter had the kids' menu. The location is also very nice. We sat outside on the beautiful square. Highly recommended!

25/07/2026: What a delightful surprise this restaurant in Charleville-Mézières was. Tables beautifully set and an excellent and surprising menu, beautifully presented. Accompanying it was a good bottle of wine unknown to us. It was very quiet on the evening we were there. This restaurant deserves good patronage. Hans and Marleen, Amersfoort

02/09/2026: Disgusting sharing platter... the galette was like shoe leather (defrosted), the salmon was awful, borderline awful, with avocado, red onion, and radish... all without any seasoning, €14.90 😱 and the two non-alcoholic cocktails were €8.90, not €6.90 (5:27 pm as the waiter said). €32.90 for a little afternoon treat on an empty stomach... and then they'll complain that people aren't buying anything 🤣

14/08/2026: Beef tartare is one of my favourite meals and I’m always sceptical ordering it in unknown places. Well…I took the plunge and it was superb! I could see the chef preparing it, and it came out fresh and perfectly balanced! What a little gem to find attached to our campsite! Such friendly people and the whole setup is professional, quick and homely! Merci! Tres magnifique!

11/06/2026: We came with friends and had a great time. The service was quick and the servers were particularly friendly and welcoming. A must-try for an excellent burger 😉

30/05/2026: Tonight, I'm disappointed. I don't understand it because it's usually very good. The sodas were lukewarm. The burgers were edible, but we didn't enjoy them; it was nothing like the quality of my previous visits. We asked for no salad and got salad, which wasn't a big deal, we could have removed it. The side dish served wasn't the one we ordered, and it wasn't very good either. No one came to ask if we wanted dessert. So we paid and left.

16/08/2026: The food was excellent, reasonably priced...it's a shame they ran out of coffee. I'd love to see the meat sword back on the menu someday, like it used to be.
