While we were enjoying a bottle of rosé, the manager verbally abused us and spoke to us in an unacceptable manner because we had a French fry from outside (it was Oktoberfest). It's one thing for the rules to prohibit it, but quite another to express it politely and respectfully. Clearly, this man doesn't like his job or his customers. Go to the other shops in the area instead; they are much more welcoming and respectful!

It's impossible not to find something to enjoy, whether it's an aperitif or a beautifully presented meal, in a cozy setting where time seems to stand still in the gentle atmosphere created by the radiant owner, Karine Arnaud, and her team. As for the dynamic chef, Eric Arnaud, he delights us with his magnificent dishes, each with its own elegant presentation and flavors that transport us back to a time when people took the time to create rich, flavorful sauces, not to mention the expertly crafted sauces that whisk us away to a paradise of fine food and the good life. It's thanks to them that life sparkles in Place Ducale. A must-try!

The meat was tender and all the ingredients were high quality, from the appetizer to the dessert! A restaurant that truly deserves its reputation and one we will definitely return to often.

We arrived after a long bike ride and were able to enjoy a delicious meal before catching our train (plus, there were two bike racks right in front of the restaurant)! Highly recommended!

Don't hesitate to step into the imaginary world of comics, manga, and games while enjoying a meal, a snack, tea, or coffee. The upstairs also holds some delightful surprises! It's an incredibly pleasant place, just like the wonderful people who bring it to life in every role!
You can purchase beautiful notebooks, journals, and postcards, each one more beautiful than the last... Settle in under the outdoor pergola when the weather is nice, and as an added bonus, you might even be greeted by a cat! 🐱 As you can see, Plume et Bulle is a truly magical place!

10/05/2026: First time here last night with my friends, and frankly, what a wonderful surprise! Everything was excellent: the service, the welcome, the atmosphere, the seasoning of the dishes, the flavors… absolutely nothing to complain about.
A special mention also goes to the French toast served at the end: a real gem, absolutely delicious! And this time, we promise, we won't miss the strawberry cake on our next visit.
Thank you to the whole team for this lovely experience, and congratulations to the chef. We will definitely be back!

05/09/2025: This September 4th, there were two of us on a terrace for a beer and a shandy, I gave a €20 note, I received the change, I didn't check and later I realized that I had been cheated out of €10... I invite customers to check carefully and not to trust them too much! because without a receipt it's difficult to go back and complain!
25/08/2025: I came to the place on Saturday, August 23rd with a colleague and 2 residents with disabilities. We had been to Carrefour before to buy something to eat and drink for the residents. We sat down and asked for the menu. So far, no problems. The waitress then came back to take our order, I kindly told her that we were going to have 2 cafés crème and also asked if we could have glasses and spoons for the residents. The waitress said yes, and asked me what she was putting in the glasses. I told her that we had already bought what was needed for them, the waitress told me that it was not possible because it was a bar and that here we served drinks. In principle, I could understand. The waitress then went to see her boss who from the beginning did not deign to say hello, so in terms of friendliness we will pass. And the person starts yelling "Oh no, out of the question, it doesn't work like that in the bars in Charleville" that's all, I tell the waitress that we're leaving. I spoke to several of my colleagues who told me that she had no problem having only a coffee, and having already bought what was needed for the residents, so I don't understand at all why we were refused for things that had already been accepted with others. Rudeness, no friendliness and disrespect from the woman who yelled in the restaurant. My colleague and I were shocked, I do not recommend it at all.
