26/03/2026: We had a wonderful meal and a fantastic time. Special mention to the waiter!

08/03/2026: The wines and the waitress's friendliness were the only positive aspects of this establishment, which had a good reputation several years ago. We paid €260 for four people, including a 14-year-old and a 10-year-old. The plates were all nearly full due to improper cooking, and for the price, the taste should have been better. What a waste of money! It's a real shame; we regretted our choice and strongly advise against going there.

29/10/2025: We had lunch on the terrace of the "Brasserie Ducale" restaurant in Charleville-Mézières during our cycling trip along the Meuse in June. The friendly and welcoming staff greeted us warmly. The menu is classic, but the dishes are varied: the beef tartare, perfectly prepared, and a refreshing salad (melon, watermelon, avocado, cucumber, ham, and cherry tomatoes) were all delicious and generous portions, and the service was impeccable. The dishes were served with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for cyclists. Excellent value for money.

22/03/2026: The staff is very unpleasant, especially the waiters who felt entitled to come and yell at us at our table for a mistake made by THEM (please refrain from pointing the finger at a customer and accusing them of something they didn't do, thank you very much). The wok chef made a mistake with our order and mixed up everyone else's plates. I ended up with my vegetables but another customer's meat. The selection of desserts and the quality of the food are not commensurate with the price charged at the register. Furthermore, we waited 20 minutes for a waiter just to order drinks.

20/12/2025: Located on the corner near the Town Hall, it was a place we used to go regularly with colleagues. Unfortunately, on three occasions, we had problems with the food. The first time, we had to change our dish due to a freshness issue, which the chef disputed despite our complaint. Another time, we had the same problem with fish. The day we finally gave up on it, we waited over 30 minutes for ice cream we had ordered at lunchtime, when our time was limited, only to find out they were out. We left and never went back. It's a shame, because the place itself is quite nice.

03/10/2025: The establishment stands out for its warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The staff is particularly attentive and pleasant. ​However, the culinary experience was uneven. While some of the à la carte offerings (starters, main courses, and desserts) are of a very high standard and fully justify their price, several others have high prices that are clearly disproportionate to the quality served.

20/03/2026: We need to pull ourselves together. We need to get our motivation back and rediscover quality. This Friday, March 20th, the vegetable selection was limited and unremarkable. Some of the staff's uniforms in the dining room weren't great, and the accessible toilet didn't flush. We were seen at 11:45 am.

16/04/2026: The burgers were quite good, however, it's unacceptable to arrive at 9 pm, when the shop closes at 10 pm, only to find that the cooks had closed the platters to leave early, meaning there were no burgers left. I find this unacceptable coming from an establishment I particularly like. Disappointed, I don't recommend it.

12/04/2026: We came for dinner with a reservation. The waitress was very kind, smiling, and professional. The dishes (a burger and a steak tartare) were truly excellent and generous! Furthermore, the location on the Place Ducale is a real plus!

09/04/2026: Yesterday, my wife, children, and I visited this restaurant in France. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They spoke basic English, which was more than enough, and communication was not an issue at all. We ordered two burgers — L'IMPRÉVU and L'ITALIEN — along with a Pâtes Bolognese and a kids’ meal of chicken nuggets with fries. The total cost was €46 including drinks. The food arrived after about 30 minutes, which was acceptable. However, unfortunately, the taste was disappointing. I’m not trying to criticize the restaurant unfairly, but neither my wife nor I were able to finish the burgers, and my child couldn’t finish the pasta either. The only items we enjoyed were the chicken nuggets and the fries. Overall, it was quite disappointing for us, at least based on our personal taste.

10/10/2025: Excellent tapas meal! The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the charcuterie was superb. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We will gladly return. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

19/10/2025: We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our pizzas before the young waitress told us there would be another long delay. We decided to leave without eating!
