Kebab Dervich Doner
Sedan
28/07/2026: Excellent, very good, and very well received by Lucas.
22/07/2026: The bread isn't real kebab bread, it's hamburger bread.
It gets soggy with the sauce and toppings and doesn't hold together, so it's impossible to eat it even as a hamburger because it gets soggy and crumbles.
The meat is cut too thin; it feels like you're eating nothing but skin. I definitely don't recommend it, even though ChatJPT recommends it.

L'Echiquier
Sedan
28/07/2026: An excellent restaurant in Sedan, ideally located right opposite the castle.
We had lunch inside, as the terrace was full, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is very clean, the service is impeccable, and the staff is welcoming and friendly.
We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the lovely bouquet of flowers on each table, as well as the basket of assorted breads—a very nice and original touch.
The dishes were delicious and served promptly. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend. We will gladly return!

La Deesse
Sedan
12/08/2026: Closed until the 23rd of August
23/07/2026: What a great find! It looks simple at first glance, but once you get to the terrace, it's fantastic! The staff were very pleasant and friendly! We had to wait a little while for the menus, but we arrived during peak service and there were many occupied tables, so it was understandable. The food was unpretentious but incredibly delicious! The prices were very reasonable; from the main course to the dessert, everything was perfect.
We'll definitely be back! 🤗

La Tour d'Auvergne
Sedan
14/09/2026: We got married on August 15th at the Château Fort de Sedan.
The hotel was our main service provider for the entire wedding: rooms for family and friends, service staff, aperitifs, meals, a cheese-based wedding cake, room setup, and more.
We want to publicly express how delighted we were to entrust our wedding to the Hotel and Restaurant La Principauté, and therefore, to everyone who works there.
Thank you to Amélie, who for almost a year acted as our wedding planner, successfully finding solutions to the countless organizational challenges. Thank you to the Chef for his menu, which delighted all 150 guests, and for his extra-large aperitif! Thank you to Thomas and the entire team for your service until 5:00 a.m.!
Thomas was exceptional in the efforts he made for us, and we are very grateful.
Finally, a huge thank you to the Hotel Manager for her active participation in the organization and her hard work, in perfect collaboration with her teams on the ground.
The hotel and restaurant truly deserve their reputation. Those who work here perform exquisite craftsmanship, ensuring the utmost enjoyment for their guests, with rigor, passion, and boundless warmth.
Hats off to the team! We owe you an exceptional wedding! We will be back...
10/09/2026: We didn't eat there because it was still closed at 12:10 pm on a Tuesday.
It's a shame, it was a restaurant that had been recommended to us.

McDonald's
Sedan
18/09/2026: The toilet had no tap, so there was no water to wash my hands. I wanted a coffee, but I got an iced coffee with whipped cream. As for the speculoos-filled doughnut, I can't remember the name—it was just a bite, very disappointing.
18/09/2026: + 5 stars for the tall mixed-race waiter with a goatee and mustache
