30/03/2024: SCAM, SHAMEFUL Having already worked at Mcdo I know the working conditions and frankly this establishment is a big scam, a serious lack of concentration when taking orders, preparation but also no politeness, not even a smile! At the price we pay for this “food” we would like to have what we order! In the happymeal there are potatoes instead of fries (and cold what's more, not even warm!), no yogurt to drink (super nice for the child who is still waiting for his dessert), the drink from the children's menu not properly closed which spilled when we tried to take it, the Fanta from the maxibestof which has no bubbles, is missing 2 deluxe sauces for not only the happymeal potatoes but also for the box of 20nuggets to share ( only 2 barbecue sauces in the bag) AND ONLY 18 NUGGETS instead of 20 in the tray!! The little wrap not even closed and with a chicken the size of a nugget, the large wraps almost empty, the inedible cheesburger looks like cardboard (must have been made 30 minutes before ordering) It's clearly SHAMEFUL, paying €31.55 for not having the entire desired order

28/03/2024: Although the price is slightly more expensive and the waiting time is longer, the food tastes better than other McDonald's, and there are many empty seats, so you can choose where to sit.

04/04/2024: Excellent "old-fashioned" restaurant as indicated by the sign "Au bon ancien temps"..... Impeccable service and cuisine. I will definitely come back during my next stay in Sedan.

19/03/2024: Discovered during a business trip to Sedan, on a lunch service, I ate very well! Frog legs with garlic and Cantonese rice. (Yes I know...😌🤣) It was very good, in generous quantities and for a more than fair price. To do again! 🍚 🐸

18/02/2024: With our hotel room reservation, we had evening meals in this restaurant. The first evening we followed the chef's suggestion: delicious The second evening my companion again followed the chef's proposal while I took another proposal: and again delicious. The dining room is cozy, tastefully but simply decorated. The atmosphere is cozy. The service is excellent with servers who know their job and customers very quickly. My partner and I enjoyed this moment with relish. How can we really describe this taste experience which in fact must be experienced in real life. My opinion: go for it!!

18/02/2024: Very beautiful room, in a very medieval setting, it's really beautiful, the service with the waiters in uniform, etc., is perfect. Unfortunately, I agree with many other comments on the quality of the dishes coming out of the kitchen... We expect a lot with this menu, this room, this service and this promise of a gourmet dish made by a chef... Unfortunately taste-wise, it's very average... to describe my dissatisfaction: overcooked salmon, hard and tasteless reconstituted potato, hard carrots, tasteless lamb shank, starter (mimosa-style quail egg) also tasteless , poorly balanced dessert in terms of acidity and sugar... A disappointment and total incomprehension because everything else is perfect except... the main thing, the taste (some good little restaurants in the region produce dishes that are far superior in terms of taste). I'm sorry to say that but the dishes are very lacking of mastery, except if the chef takes out his dishes, it is because he considers them to be perfect in every way... Perhaps we should see a restaurant menu a range below but better controlled. The prices are correct for the half-board options, for the à la carte dishes... considering the mastery of the kitchen it is a little expensive. That said the dishes are very beautiful, nothing to say about the presentation, it's superb, a big effort on the taste and it will be perfect! I still recommend the restaurant, hoping that my comment will be taken into account by the chef.
