La Maison des Fondues

17/02/2026: The restaurant is very comfortable and the menu offers excellent fondues. Over the past two months, I've eaten there three times and everything has always gone very well. The service has usually been prompt and friendly.
However, last night was a bit of a disaster. First, we waited 40 minutes before we could order and receive water. Then, during dinner, the restaurant was very noisy, making conversation difficult.
At one point, the waiter bumped into us while running from table to table. Furthermore, on several occasions, he was practically standing over our fondue while serving other tables, due to the very limited space between them.
I hope this was an isolated incident and that the experience will be better next time.

18/02/2026: On Tuesday, February 17th, two employees were extremely unpleasant (around 3 pm). One of them even dared to yell at us when, before ordering, we wanted to check if there were enough seats in the upstairs dining room. I've never been treated this way before; perhaps it's because of my skin color? Anyway, we won't be returning here, and we'll do everything we can to ensure that none of our friends or family ever go to this establishment again.

09/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. I'm surprised it's for sale. Are you moving somewhere else? If so, where? Thank you.
30/09/2025: When we are told that we take the UP lunch card at the entrance, I am supposed to be able to pay with this card. When the bill arrives, it is impossible to pay with the lunch card with my card or my wife's. Pretending that we take the card but that upon arrival we do not take the card, I find that dishonest. (The card had not been used before, so €25 is possible and on a Thursday) it makes the customer experience bad.

08/08/2024: Accueil plus que désagréable. Refus de la serveuse de nous servir car nous sommes un groupe. Servent à la tête du client.
29/05/2024: Soy inglés y mi esposa es estadounidense. Al intentar pagar con tarjeta, el camarero me preguntó cuánto me gustaría dar propina. Nuestro total era de aproximadamente 30 euros y por eso dije 3 euros, que es el 10%. El camarero respondió con un tono molesto y añadió 10 euros al total (aprox. 33% de propina) sin mostrarme la pantalla y luego me metió el dispositivo en la cara. Mientras pagaba el camarero me preguntó “¿de dónde eres?”
Debí negarme a pagar esto, pero dejemos claro lo que ha sucedido aquí. El camarero pensó que ambos éramos americanos, y se sirvió una propina inapropiada pensando que no nos daríamos cuenta de que era una cantidad absurda para Europa.

15/06/2024: Open space seating. Friendly service. Food was tasty and well plated.
14/03/2024: The best quality/price ratio of golf courses in the Marseille region. Excellent cuisine, with a constantly updated daily special, efficient service and a friendly welcome. In short, a must. I admit that I don't understand the negative reviews posted. I note that those in charge of the establishment have not even tried to justify themselves and I understand this given the daily crowds.
