23/02/2026: Always a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast

18/02/2026: On Tuesday, February 17th, two employees were extremely unpleasant (around 3 pm). One of them even dared to yell at us when, before ordering, we wanted to check if there were enough seats in the upstairs dining room. I've never been treated this way before; perhaps it's because of my skin color? Anyway, we won't be returning here, and we'll do everything we can to ensure that none of our friends or family ever go to this establishment again.

30/09/2025: When we were told we could use the UP lunch card at the entrance, I was supposed to be able to pay with it. However, when the bill arrived, it was impossible to pay with the lunch card, neither with my card nor my wife's. To claim they were accepting the card but then not actually accept it upon arrival seems dishonest to me. (The card hadn't been used before, so a €25 charge was possible, and it was a Thursday!) It made for a poor customer experience.

27/03/2026: Fantastic welcome. Always a great atmosphere and attentive service. The cocktail selection and music are perfect for a great time in the heart of Aix.

24/03/2026: Brasserie de la Mairie is a wonderful spot with a very relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely loved the French Onion Soup and the Croque Monsieur, as both were prepared perfectly. The service is fast and friendly, which makes for a great dining experience. I honestly do not understand why some people claim the French are snooty, as we found them to be the loveliest folks on earth. It is definitely a good idea to go for brunch instead of a later meal, as the place gets really busy around lunchtime. The location is perfect, looking right out into the Fontaine de l'eau bénite, which adds a charming backdrop to your meal. This is a must visit if you are looking for a classic and welcoming brasserie experience in the heart of Aix-en-Provence.

11/04/2026: I'm still thinking about it a month later; the price was exorbitant for the quantity. Plus, it was frozen food—in short, a disgrace, even with the 50% discount, it's still pathetic. To the world's taste? More like to the monster's.

20/03/2026: The food on my plate was pathetic; I left feeling dejected and overwhelmed by such a tapas meal! My Friday is ruined; my father is going to give me a good telling-off. Luckily, I had good company!
