20/05/2026: We went to La Rocha one weekday evening in the pouring Marseille rain. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but we had a wonderful time. The cuisine was high-quality oriental, featuring mezze. A member of the staff prepared the stuffed grape leaves by hand right in front of us. The portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable for a restaurant at the start of the Corniche. The owner was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

16/06/2026: The hotel is definitely the nicest in the area with beautiful views of the hippodrome and sea. The fitness and spa amenities are great, and the food and wine are quite good. Restaurant service is typically South French, that is to say, merely ok on a good day.
My room was a bit worn with the room door, terasse door, and toilet flush button all barely working. However it was very roomy.
Housekeeping was hit or miss over the 11 days of my stay, sometimes forgetting to replace or clean things and towards the end my beauty products were taken from the shower and never returned.
Front desk staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good, but very pricey at €25 for what is available. Dinner and drink prices are more reasonable.
19/05/2026: A 5-star stay from beginning to end (and even before, when we booked our stay). Comfort (room, bedding), cleanliness, responsiveness (important for us as we have a disability). Friendly and personal welcome. Super friendly and dedicated staff across all departments, from the restaurant team and wellness area staff to housekeeping, reception, and the management team, who were always present on-site. The hotel is well-located by the sea, surrounded by all kinds of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: Refused entry because of sports shorts, I didn't know we were the kids from the friends' cabin for a drink at 1:30 am
12/07/2026: We came to this establishment three nights in a row. Each time, the bouncer refused us entry without any valid reason, while other groups were admitted without any problem.
After witnessing several refusals, we noticed that people of Arab/North African origin were systematically turned away. This behavior clearly resembles racial discrimination, contrary to the values that a place meant to be welcoming and open to all should embody.
Beyond the lack of respect, this type of practice is probably illegal, as French law prohibits refusing entry to a bar or nightclub based on origin or perceived ethnicity or "race."
I strongly advise against this place for anyone who values respect, equal treatment, and a minimum level of professionalism at the door.

02/07/2024: Très bon moment a deux, personnel très accueillant et de bon conseil, la cuisine est très bonne, le vin aussi nous reviendrons très bientôt
02/06/2024: Accueil chaleureux. Salle du fond au calme. Très bon repas arménien. L'assortiment de spécialités est un régal. Nous avons goûté des desserts savoureux . Y aller sans hésiter. On y retournera.
