13/12/2023: Crepes with a difference. Coincidence brought us to this restaurant a few hundred meters outside the tourist area of Sarlat, which serves Dutch pancakes instead of the traditional Breton pancakes. What was offered was convincing and was served quickly. The homemade Dutch Poffertjes, small, sweet mini pancakes, which are offered in different variations, were the icing on the cake, the version with chocolate sauce was a dream.
06/12/2023: I really like this restaurant, I've been there about fifteen times and I'm still happy with it! I always take a crepe with smoked brisket, it's a real treat. For dessert I always have their poffertjes which are one of their specialties, it's very good too. The setting is nice, you can eat on the terrace in summer and in winter it's well heated, with great music in the background, the staff is also very pleasant, I recommend 100%!!

16/10/2023: Anyone who thinks you can't get great fish and chips in France has clearly never been to The Fiddler's Rest, their Fish and Chips is superb but all their meals are excellent. Well made food, generous portions and reasonably priced. The staff are extremely friendly and just a pleasure to deal with. An absolute gem of a place.

02/04/2024: We were delighted with our second family visit to this wildlife park. The team is incredibly welcoming and warm, and the animals benefit from a spacious environment which allows them to fully thrive. We can't wait to come back again!
24/03/2024: Very pleasant educational farm for both adults and children where you can feed certain animals and even enter their enclosures.
The park is rather large, there is some walking to go all around but it is worth it for animal lovers.
Bring good replacement shoes suitable for mud and walking.
PS: personal at the top 👌🏽 nothing to say.

22/03/2024: A very good surprise in this little restaurant in La Douze. We should not stop here at the setting: the frontage and the room, it is true, could do with a little refreshing. After that, we discovered an establishment with a charming welcome, great service and simple but very well prepared dishes, and well presented for the prices asked which are more than fair.
17/03/2024: Perfect for coming with family, very reasonable prices, no entry costing more than €6.50.
The most expensive being a soft-boiled egg accompanied by a delicious porcini mushroom sauce and sprinkled generously with large pieces of this delicious, perfectly fried mushroom.
Their Portuguese-influenced cuisine is truly a delight.
If you want to get off the beaten track you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chef's service.
We will definitely come back to please our young and old.

30/09/2023: Reservation made Friday morning September 29 for Saturday September 30 at 12:45 p.m. Super restaurant closed. Poor response from the boss at 4 p.m. it was the apprentice who made the mistake. We are closed on Saturday noon, no supervision of the apprentice.. In my opinion she should run away from this establishment if she doesn't even know the opening days and the businesses in Périgueux are complaining. This makes me laugh.....

We came on 09/15/2023
We had reservations for dinner the night of the match.
Arriving already at the table not set, then orders taken slowly, we had to ask for our drinks, our cutlery, the pancake was really not good (an impression of not being fresh) and expensive for a pancake and served at the table with expired mustard, Being in the business I found that the service was pitiful, knowing that there weren't many people. And that we had reserved to eat for 6.
Sorry but I don't recommend
