05/09/2024: Aller manger aux Ducs de Savoie, que ce soit pour un déjeuner ou un dîner, est toujours un grand moment de plaisir gustatif, gourmand et souriant ! Cerise sur le gâteau, le « Menu du Moment », servi à midi le mercredi, jeudi et vendredi : un menu délicieux, modifié chaque semaine, avec une mise en bouche, une entrée, un plat principal et un dessert pour 30 Euros !

A caring staff, a tastefully equipped and decorated room, a wellness area that feels good after a day on the road. 19/09/2024: Very good restaurant level. Nothing to say about this level. On the other hand, the rooms are clean but it is clearly too cold. No heating at this time with 7 degrees outside… the nights were cool… We reported it but no solution. The breakfast for my part was disappointing… the fruit basket filled with rotten fruit… the 2 days of affiliates….

16/12/2024: Tuvimos varias personas recomendar Moo para nosotros para la cena. Fuimos esta noche. Conocimos a uno de los propietarios: Orión. Nos sirvió y habló con nosotros durante bastante tiempo. Teníamos una hamburguesa y una ensalada y ambos eran geniales. Toda la experiencia de la cena fue maravilloso y lo volveríamos a hacer! Altamente Recomiendo.

The rooms are spacious, warm with a small kitchen area with a small exterior. The swimming pool and its wellness area after a hike, pure happiness. The service, the spaces: reading, various games, relaxation, breakfast, everything was perfect. THANKS

An almost pedestrian center The location of the hotel in the center with garage included A small swimming pool available and a jacuzzi A mountain decor in the suite with a balcony which gives us a superb view And finally, top notch staff with a very warm and family feel. Dogs are accepted

10/09/2024: This is my favorite restaurant among those present at the port of Thonon. The menu is simple, but the food is good. Unlike other terraces, I have never had a problem with the service or the quality of the dishes.

05/09/2024: Café Bar La Commanderie has an ideal location on the port of Thonon, but unfortunately, the experience does not match. The reception is really deplorable, with a waiting time that is much too long, even when there are no crowds. The staff is not very friendly, which spoils the atmosphere a little. The prices are quite high for what is offered, and to be honest, there are much nicer and more welcoming bars nearby. Avoid if you are looking for a friendly moment by the lake.

04/08/2024: We stayed six nights at the Les Gentianettes hotel, and overall, our experience was quite satisfactory. The setting of the hotel is elegant, offering a real change of scenery. The services offered, such as the swimming pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzis, are in perfect condition and greatly contributed to our well-being during our stay. The welcome from all the staff of the establishment was very warm. However, we were disappointed by the attitude of the hostess, who lacked commercial sense and friendliness. After five nights, we noticed that the bedding, although of good quality, did not suit us (too hard) because there was no real mattress topper. We asked if it was possible to add one to soften our mattress, but she simply replied that the bedding was exceptional and that she did not understand our request, and above all, she did not try to find one. solution. This unsympathetic response tarnished our stay. As a result, we considered leaving the hotel early, but no refund was possible, forcing us to stay. It's a shame to end on a negative note when the establishment as a whole is rather satisfactory. For future customers, it is also important to note that catering and breakfasts are quite expensive. Plan a substantial budget, with prices of €25 for breakfast and €37 per person for a pierrade, for example. Even if the staff remains very friendly, apart from the hostess, they lack a lot of experience. We had to request drinks at a dinner several times and also had to request that part of our bill be canceled for drinks at the pool that did not concern us. Despite these inconveniences, the Les Gentianettes hotel remains a pleasant place for a relaxing stay, provided you are prepared for certain costs and a variable welcome depending on the people you talk to.

29/08/2024: Amazing food ! The best ribs I’ve ever had. The staff is very friendly, family owned and managed. The restaurant is gorgeous with amazing views of the Mont Blanc. Will definitely come back.
