03/12/2025: The IPA on draught was dirt. Also, the racist Irish "jokes" on the walls were fairly shocking. Honestly, the only Irish thing about this place was my wife and myself when we were there. We left after one drink. Response to the pub: Not a Galway man, but Irish. So that's good of you to go stalking through my account. Also, I never said the pub itself was racist, merely it's attempt at humor. If those remarks were written by "Irish" people, then they are the exact sort of "Irish" the majority of us try to avoid... When are these jokes from, the 1940s?!? Anyone with half a brain could see the serious lack of humor in them.

03/12/2025: I was craving a Guinness and I found one. Made my day. Good service. Great atmosphere. Dan was a great bartender.

05/09/2024: There is a special atmosphere in this beautiful place, I like the works of art (changing from time to time with new French works...) good restoration, of course choice of brands present in the store without equivalent...

04/09/2024: The customer service at the tax refund desk is awful! They require your physical passport in order to issue a refund form. Of course this is only because they don’t want to enter the passport information physically. Lazy and stupid! They told me it’s the French law but it is not!! If you expect to get a tax refund avoid this place as there are alternatives

01/02/2026: We recently visited the restaurant Les Ombres. We liked absolutely everything: very tasty dishes and very good service. We would like to single out the hostess Mila - she welcomed us very kindly and ensured that we had the most comfortable time.

31/01/2026: Have a nice evening everyone. We booked the restaurant in advance, before arriving in Paris. The location is wonderful, and the Eiffel Tower at night is simply unforgettable. L'amour L'amour. And that's it! The dining room's design is nothing special. The food is bland. The service is sloppy.

27/01/2026: Nice place for a drink. Very good cocktails. Excellent and very accommodating waiter: a child in our group spilled their Viennese hot chocolate and the waiter very kindly came over to offer them another one!

16/11/2025: Doina is a lovely spot in Paris with delicious, well-prepared dishes. The atmosphere is warm, and Candide made the experience even better with his kind, attentive service. A great place to enjoy ameal.

09/11/2025: So we came to visit and we clearly fell into a trap. Out of six of us, two got sick, including one person who vomited all night and is bedridden, thus ending our vacation... The hygiene was absolutely appalling and sickening. The service was beyond deplorable, and they clearly didn't speak French. We even threw away the takeaway desserts because of the smell coming from the crepes. The health department, please do an inspection...

31/01/2026: TOURISTS BEWARE I booked a room at this hotel. There was an accidental second booking, which I canceled immediately after booking. I contacted Expedia right away. Expedia told me they would look into it. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk confirmed Expedia had contacted them and said the matter would be reviewed by ownership and discussed with me the next day. The room I was given was extremely small and did not resemble the photos online. The “view” was of a back area with no scenery. I asked whether another room with an actual view was available and was told the hotel was fully booked. I pointed out that I had accidentally booked a second room that I was still being charged for, and was told that room was also booked. The next morning, I was informed the hotel would not refund the unused, immediately canceled room. I checked out and left. Several days later, and after returning home, I noticed missed calls and messages from the hotel. I responded once. The hotel declined a refund and escalated the interaction unnecessarily with vitriol and childish behavior. I paid for two rooms and received one subpar room for one night. This review reflects that experience and how it was handled... Both very poor and unprofessional. Again, NOT AS ADVERTISED.

29/01/2026: Fabulous little hotel in a lovely part of Paris, just a 10-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and the same from the Hotel des Invalides. 5 minutes from the nearest Metro. A really welcoming place - all the staff are so friendly and helpful and we even got a complimentary room upgrade. Breakfasts are well worth opting for when you book - lots of different dishes on offer, as much as you want and all delicious. Will definitely book here again if we return to Paris.
