14/10/2023: Magnifique lac volcanique, toujours sous surveillance car du type maar, donc phréatomagmatique et potentiellement explosif (son nom Pavin est tiré du latin pavens, épouvantable). Sa profondeur de 82 m en fait le lac le plus profond de la chaîne des Puys. Il est de formation récente, de l'ordre de 6900 ans.
C'est un lac méromictique, c'est à dire ne subissant pas de mélange des eaux plus profondément que 60 m, celles entre 60 et 92 m accumulant des gaz le gaz carbonique, l'azote, le méthane et le sulfure d'hydrogène, liés à la décomposition de la matière organique et qui lui confère une odeur nauséabonde.

01/03/2024: How lucky for a boss to have a waitress like that. We have already seen some very professional ones... but rarely as attentive. This is what makes all the difference between a good meal and an unforgettable meal.

I, who am a good eater, finished the plates and finished the bread. It was good !
The setting is magnificent and relaxing.
If you are lucky enough to eat next to the bay window, you will have your nose immersed in the nature of Livradois Forez.

The food is pretty good overall, but the pavlova is killer 👍
Nice decor, the young waitress was very kind, smiling, attentive and she came to say goodbye to all her customers at the end of her service as we finished our meal
Stopping on the return from vacation at 8, we were able to be served fairly quickly by ordering desserts from the start of the meal
Relaxed, quiet meal ❤️
Meal at 20€ per person
PS: the Burger-King was overwhelmed so we preferred not to wait 1/2 hour at the terminals and at the counter to get our orders and be able to eat together
So no regrets about changing restaurants

31/03/2024: What a disappointment, moldy and very hard toasted bread, with the salmon rillettes. Fried mussels... 14 empty shells before finding full ones. Very crunchy fries because they are well cooked. Service more than fast, barely finished the starter they bring us the dish... The next time I come to Clermont I will change creameries

17/03/2024: We booked on Google and put a note stating that we had a stroller.
When we arrived, the waiter didn't know where to place us and explained to us that we should have informed us that we had a stroller... obviously he hadn't seen our bill.
The wall decorations are breathtaking and the menu card is extraordinarily enchanting and appreciable!
We arrive at 7:10 p.m. and the waiter already takes time to give us the menu and almost 3/4 to get our aperitif but lo and behold, the waiter has the wrong aperitif for my partner who has to wait an additional 5 minutes to get his drink aperitif.
At 8:30 p.m. we were still not served even though people who arrived at 8 p.m. already had their meal on the table and ready to heat....
Beyond the fact that the tables are tightly packed, we would have appreciated a minimum of empathy which did not come.
In summary, the cuisine is very good but the lack of staff makes everything extremely complicated and much too long (beyond acceptance)
When we asked for our dishes at 8:30 p.m. because our babies had to go to bed, the waiter replied that he too would like to go to bed... a bit average. It's a shame because the restaurant deserves to be known and better served.
17/03/2024: A little doubtful following your comments... I am very pleasantly surprised. A very friendly little restaurant, with a warm and professional welcome. A reasonable wait (almost non-existent) between each dish which allows you to enjoy the moment without feeling oppressed. A cuisine that meets our expectations, simple dishes with taste.
