19/03/2024: If you are in Corbier, this is the restaurant you should go to.
Mountain decor, with large room, veranda, bar, and outdoor terrace. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, plus she comes to see these customers to see if everything is going well. The waitresses are equally friendly. We chose the fondue "a treat" for two people or more, very well served with cold meats and salad. And to finish dessert, peach melba, also very well served.
A piece of advice, an address to remember, to return there.

14/03/2024: I had dinner here with a few friends, three hours later than the original reservation. We were received here after we were clearly told that we should be happy with the discount they gave. However, they had not kept their part of the agreement and we were blamed for this

22/03/2024: Very warm welcome and excellent cuisine. In addition, magnificent sun terrace at the foot of the ski slopes. A very pleasant moment.
16/03/2024: Great food! Pizza’s are amazing, pasta was great, raclette was good, entrecote was wonderful. Nice staff who speaks great English. Good wine and beers.
Visited in March 2024, big terrace in the sun for lunch and have eaten their by night as well.

3rd year that we have had a family dinner and the quality was not there.
A large potato per person for a Savoyard fondue, a large piece of plastic in the most expensive dessert with an industrial look and taste, not even a commercial gesture (free coffee for example to apologize!, it's the fault of the supplier... uh sorry?),
Overcooked meat,
In short, prices far too high for the quality/price ratio.
We will go somewhere else next year!

We went to the Cairn this winter. 4 weeks before the station closes.
There were only a few dishes left on the menu, a lot of missing and all the staff including the manager were seated and on their phones during the meal...
There are certainly fewer activities at the end of the season, but that does not mean you should neglect the customers who come to your establishment.

03/04/2024: Pretty good for a restaurant in a ski resort. Because most of them all have that log cabin interior. I specifically selected photos of the interior because I didn't want the log cabin feeling on my birthday on a ski trip. Parking is provided. So the interior was effectively different and fun. With a wood fire that made it cozy. The host was friendly and attentive and had a talent for serving guests. The hostess was more reserved. The food was quite tasty. Price quality was certainly okay. The tables were quite low and so were the chairs and benches. Putting a cushion on your chair solved the problem.

26/04/2024: We had a super tasty meal, we were a group of 8 people and the food arrived quickly. The food was tasty and the staff friendly. The restaurant is small and also cozy. Prices for the food were fine for Val Thorens.
15/04/2024: We have been to johns a few times and love it every time!
The burgers are mega and are just what you expect from an American burger restaurant. Decent prices and really good service.

30/03/2024: We eat well, we sleep well, the sauna is very pleasant, the setting is magnificent.
Too bad the welcome is not very warm with the business side too present. This is not what you come to look for in a mountain refuge, even if it is private. A big point of possible improvement on this subject. Positive criticism to encourage this evolution ;-)
