The service is quick, with a friendly and attentive owner and a waitress always eager to make you feel younger: "Hello young man," she replied, "I'm 68 years old!"
20/01/2026: First time at this restaurant, which I often pass by but have never gone in. The owner and waitress are extremely kind, the food is simple, familiar, homemade, and very good. I had an excellent meal and time.

18/05/2026: A magnificent place with plenty of activities for children 🧒 (family-friendly racecourse) in addition to races with magnificent horses 😍
08/05/2026: France was also very lively.
Since I went on a public holiday, there were lots of families.
You can see the horses up close, both before and after the race.
In France, they even have five-horse exacta bets.
There were also many older men picking up discarded betting slips from trash cans, searching for winning tickets.

09/05/2026: This health insurance company is a complete disaster. I've never seen anything like it. I'm giving it one star because you're required to give at least one, but it deserves zero.
Overnight, my father was dropped from the plan without any warning. We were told a bailiff had intervened regarding unpaid bills and had sent us an acknowledgement of receipt. They even gave us the bailiff's contact information. I called him twice, and incredibly, he has absolutely NO file in my father's name. So, he never intervened and never sent a registered letter. The first person I spoke to at the insurance company insisted I had been notified. That's called treating people like idiots. I say "first person" because I called back three times and spoke to three different people who weren't even aware of the situation. At the same time, it's difficult to be aware of something that doesn't exist, because ever since my father was deregistered and supposedly faced legal action for these unpaid bills, I've never seen anyone with a debt who continues their life peacefully without any reminders or legal proceedings. The worst part is that they also cause you trouble because, for who knows how long, my father has been without health insurance without even realizing it. What a disgrace, such shoddy work!
09/04/2026: We are extremely disappointed! We spoke to a customer service representative on the phone for 45 minutes after requesting a quote through their website. They promised us many things, but none of them were kept. Be careful about what you are sold over the phone and online.

I highly recommend Catherine's massages, which were divine after an hour in the hammam.
The brunch was generous, at least for us.

My experience at this establishment was unforgettable...and not in a good way ❌
⚠️ If you're looking for a Christmas gift for a loved one...read my review first!
1️⃣ Before arriving
First contact by phone, the tone is set.
The voucher was valid until December 31st, making it impossible to book for January 3rd...that is, 3 days after the expiry date.
Rules are rules (even if one might expect a little flexibility and empathy from this kind of establishment...)
I book.
2️⃣ Arrival
Upon arrival, the tone is confirmed: say goodbye to relaxation.
I sensed a directive tone (am I here to relax?), which struck me as slightly haughty and patronizing (maybe just an off day, we're all human! Let's stay positive to enjoy the rest of this experience).
3️⃣ The Facilities
Old-fashioned wooden doors that don't close, broken toilets, a temperature of around 20°C in the relaxation area, supposedly a power outage... well, it continues... the barge seemed poorly maintained, perhaps I came on a bad day (Sunday)?... But hey, maybe it's still possible to have a good time, let's hope so 🤞🏻!
4️⃣ Hammam... A real heatwave 🔥, that's for sure! Be careful not to step on the scalding jets, which aren't protected ⚠️
How clumsy of me... the jet wasn't quite at the far end as the manager indicated, but a bit more in the middle, so when I tried to put my flip-flop back on... ouch! A very bad burn (later confirmed by my doctor).
30 minutes of cold water and still in so much pain.
5️⃣ Shaking, on the verge of fainting, thank goodness the manager was there: she called the fire department and promised to reschedule my relaxation time, apologizing profusely...
🥁 And no!
- A "sorry, but there were signs"
- A 3-minute break, a glass of water and a compress, then
- Are you ready for your massage?
Um...is this a joke?
No compensation whatsoever, and I thought it would have been possible to reschedule given the burn and my condition...how naive I am.
So you can imagine the experience I had. I felt a lack of empathy in how the situation was handled.
This kind of establishment doesn't seem conducive to relaxation.
🍞 Bonus: the brunch consists of bottled orange juice (like the kind you get at Carrefour), tea, a croissant, a piece of cheese with scrambled eggs, a small spring roll and a small samosa, and a fruit salad.
You can make up your own mind about it.
For the sake of transparency: I never give reviews behind the establishment's back.
I always prefer to discuss things with those directly involved first.
The situation was ignored.
"Management can't do anything."
"We can't put any protection on the nozzles, they would overheat..."
So I'm sharing my experience here.

27/06/2026: While I had come to celebrate a wonderful event with my family, this restaurant ruined the festive atmosphere by insulting my mother with racist and discriminatory remarks. For context, it's important to note that the event was attended primarily by white guests, with only a small number of Black people present.
My mother, my aunt, my cousins, and I (all Black!) were seated together at a table, and we quickly noticed a difference in treatment between us and the other guests, which began at the bar: my cousin and I went to order drinks, like everyone else, but we were the only ones who weren't served immediately. Instead, we were handed bottles of water to take to other guests' tables.
Throughout the meal, all the other guests saw trays brought to their tables, except for ours. We even thought there was a menu and that we had to order ourselves since everyone else had a dish at their table except us. When we pointed this out, we were told to "help ourselves to the plates from the tables behind us," but why should we have to pick at other people's plates when everyone else is being served?
We tried, with some reluctance, to laugh about the situation and have a good time, until dessert time (which arrived when we had barely eaten, since we had to beg for a main course). A waiter walked past us yet again without serving us. My aunt finally stopped him and asked if we could have one of the platters. Annoyed, the waiter handed us a tray of fruit and felt the need to specify, in a dismissive tone, that "it's ONE skewer per person, not a plate." He eventually brought us a plate of apple pie, which another waiter came to collect four minutes later, claiming he had to serve the pie to the other customers.
We were starting to get genuinely annoyed by the waiters' unpleasant behavior when suddenly, one of them came up to my mother and shouted, "MAMA! HEY MAMA! Calm down!" Naturally, my mother was outraged: what right did a stranger have to address her so familiarly and call her "Mama"?
All of us around the table were deeply offended by his remarks and reprimanded him, especially since his subsequent explanations did nothing to improve the situation. This waiter apparently has "friends of all backgrounds" and he supposedly called my mother "Mama" "because she looks old" (?), even though he never referred to anyone who was genuinely and visibly elderly (but white) in the room as such.
The waiter eventually shed tears, and my mother brushed aside the incident and accepted his apology, but I do not. How long must we tolerate this kind of behavior and attitude? How long must we bow down and absolve everyone who openly disrespects us based on discriminatory biases?
We had come to celebrate a beautiful wedding and a christening, and a day that should have been filled with joy and love ended in tears for my mother, whose memory was ruined by this restaurant. I do not thank you and I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

07/11/2025: No point in coming, it's closed. It's unacceptable not to post a notice on the website or on Google. Making the trip to find an old poster is clearly a lack of consideration for customers. I'm furious.

We were regulars at this place, and for several months now, it's been closed with a sign saying it's "annual closure"...
A waste of time every time we go there.👎

30/06/2026: Very bad experience.
I've been going to this establishment for a while now, and I've noticed a real decline. The portions seem smaller and smaller, while the prices remain high, making the value for money very disappointing.
I also found the pricing unclear; between the set menus and the extras, it's difficult to know exactly what's included and what will be charged extra.
Finally, I found the manager particularly unpleasant and unhelpful, which unfortunately made the experience even more disappointing.
Personally, I won't be going back.
12/06/2026: We ordered two iced matcha lattes. The photos speak for themselves: where's the matcha?
My friend asked to change the drinks, but the manager refused, claiming that the coconut milk was turning the matcha white. This is untrue, as we're used to neighboring cafes that also use coconut milk, and the result is always a vibrant green.
The drinks were remixed but not replaced. I've never seen a business refuse to change a drink if it's undrinkable.
A very bad first experience, and certainly the last.
I would have liked to give zero stars, but Google doesn't allow it.
