17/08/2024: Small, timeless, warm place, mountain view terrace and interior with a magical atmosphere. Perfect for the end of the day, hiking, motorcycle riding, etc.
The boss is adorable and the products are super good.
To taste beers, cold meats and other small dishes I recommend.
Please note it is not open all year round, only in summer depending on the boss's arrangements.
16/08/2024: What a great discovery of this completely atypical little restaurant nestled in the heights of UNAC.
We liked it so much that we ate there 2 nights in a row.
Only local products, with homemade recipes concocted by the boss, Raphaël. We tested everything and everything is very good: the charcuterie platter made up of 5 items (cured ham, lomo etc...), the pâté, the ham, the salad with pickle vinaigrette, the sheep's cheese with its little jam, its Ariège square. The local beer is very good. We eat casually, without fuss. The pattern is extremely simple and user-friendly. The place is quiet with the mountain as a view if you want to eat on the terrace.
What a great discovery!!! We will definitely come back during our next summer trip to Ax les thermes. We recommend ++++

We are received very warmly by the person at reception with whom we engage in a fairly long and complete conversation about this magnificent "country" of Donezan, about the deterioration of the climate which is dangerously endangering the "winter sports" activity. surrounding stations.
We appreciate and admire the architecture, the layout of the rooms, the eminently educational content of what is on display and the rather dizzying character of the castle on this site which is a real jewel.
Bravo for this enhancement of local heritage!
A special mention for the very “speaking” slideshow in the beautiful auditorium.

23/08/2024: For €4.50 it is not bad, but keep in mind that you are not going to see much, do not expect a castle as such, because it is demolished and they are being rehabilitated. Good to see the old room exhibition and various things found in the area. Keep in mind that the access road to the area has narrowings and the French come quickly and do not slow down. You have to leave the car in a grass parking lot next to the river and go uphill for about 15 minutes following the path, which is paved, but there are steep sections. If you are not in shape, you make stops. If you are in the area you can go, but I don't recommend going on purpose. Some type of guide with explanations of the rooms is missing so you don't have to imagine them.

21/09/2024: I recently discovered this charming village restaurant which really deserves a shout out. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly. The dishes are prepared with care, using regional products and generously served, a cuisine like at home.
The owners are very kind and take the time to advise their customers. They even recommended a wonderful hike nearby which enriched our experience.

24/06/2024: I bought double cheese burger and i saw the guy he cooked the burger patties. But burger patties is already cooked and burn. I did not ask him about it. But when i eat it. The Patties like rubber Can not chew. I think the burger patties is very old stock from the fridge. And they don’t have proper hygiene.
