21/09/2026: Small bar on a quiet street, smiling and friendly service and bartender.

20/09/2026: Arrived Strasbourg Friday evening and as my first time here was unfamiliar with the local bar scene. I was looking for a locals bar that focussed on serving drinks and after walking the centre saw this bar on Google maps. Made very welcome by barman Johnny and also friendly service from Tristan. My French is not great but that wasn't a problem here and soon got talking to locals like Thomas! Good range of Fischer & Perle beers on draught at reasonable prices and the bar had a cosy ambience. Liked it so much went back Saturday night and met a crew of Germans so the night went through to the early hours! If you're looking as a stranger for a friendly pub then Le Schluch should be your 1st choice!

09/10/2026: I only come for the pasta carbonara, which is excellent. Very welcoming and quick service, I highly recommend it!

28/09/2026: Unwelcoming attitude from the staff when I arrived. This was then followed by my order disappearing and other customers who arrived after me walking out with their orders. When I checked I was again met with the same attitude and when the order finally arrived there was no apology and it seemed like I was inconveniencing the staff. Not sure if it was because I was speaking English, but it is an incredibly strange way to run a business if you want to be successful. The only saving grace is that the coffee when it finally arrived was quite nice, although not worth €5. Plenty of other cheaper and more friendly options around.

28/09/2026: The cappuccino was so delicious, I haven't had one like that in ages! Excellent and a beautiful atmosphere.

18/10/2026: If you want a bad mojito, you've come to the right place. Upon request, they added some more rum, which didn't improve the drink except for increasing the price from €8 to €13. Thanks again for that. You should only call cocktails that if you actually know how to make them, or leave it to the professionals!

30/09/2026: Excellent matcha! I've been several times and it's always just as good, never disappointed. The service is also very pleasant: it was quick and everything went very smoothly. A special mention for the tall waiter, who was incredibly kind and charming, with a lovely smile. He served us very well and was truly delightful. A great place, I'll gladly return!

26/09/2026: The staff were very welcoming, I really liked their sweet kougelolof and the vegetable quiche, the other pastries are also very good such as the cheesecake, their gingerbread is excellent.

26/10/2026: A great café to relax in and enjoy a vegetarian/vegan breakfast. The atmosphere is very cute, the staff are very friendly, and the selection is very varied! The vegan options are also delicious (I recommend the cookie dough for €4!!) and reasonably priced!

07/09/2026: I 100% recommend this place; my colleagues and I absolutely love it. Didn't pack lunch but want a home-style meal and want to avoid fast food? You've come to the right place ☺️ Plus, everyone chooses exactly the ingredients they want, so you're guaranteed to find something you love. The owner is super friendly! The portions are incredibly generous, all for under €10… thank you for existing ❤️👏

07/05/2026: Honestly, I'm eating dessert right now and it's delicious. I highly recommend it; it's affordable, the portions are generous, and it's good.

09/10/2026: Inhumane. I rushed to this bar to use the restroom, even trying to explain the seriousness of the situation and my chronic illness. A man categorically refused to let me use the toilet, using the excuse that he had "cleaned" it by throwing a bleach capsule in the bowl. It's not like I was planning on repainting the restroom walls. And it would cost absolutely nothing to be a little more humane and understand people when they are suffering because of an illness that is destroying their lives every day. It's establishments like this, refusing to let others use their restrooms, that are, in my opinion, the worst places to be. It would have cost absolutely NOTHING to let me use it; I could even have cleaned up after myself if necessary (which I certainly would have done). Luckily, the bar across the street was much more humane.

10/05/2026: Nice wines. Reasonable prices. Very helpful staff. Just there to buy wines. Noisy clientele 'tasting' wines... Would happily go again for quality, service and prices.

05/09/2026: The salad, ordered as a main course, wasn't fresh and this was pointed out. Aside from a "Sorry," there was no further feedback. The salad was still charged. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

25/08/2026: The staff is very polite and friendly. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and the sauces were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

15/10/2026: I had breakfast here every day during my stay in Strasbourg. The bread was excellent, but the freshly squeezed orange juice was also really good.

14/10/2026: Highly recommended The coffee was a little long for my taste for a short double espresso
