17/08/2026: We ate a filled baguette here. It had obviously been sitting in the display case for a very long time. It wasn't fresh and tasted bland. Not good!

04/10/2026: After several years of going to La Salamandre, I am very disappointed. The table is overpriced. The staff dropped the bottle we ordered (Armand de Brignac at €400), resulting in €200 of the €400 ending up on the floor. I did note the head waiter's effort to offer a discount on another bottle. The service is unacceptable: even the smallest reservation results in immediate payment before they've even seen the table and without knowing what the reservation holder wants to drink. It has great potential, but an appalling lack of professionalism, especially considering the establishment's popularity. It's more than a shame because the DJs are excellent and the atmosphere is very good. I will recommend it when the service is commensurate with the crowds the restaurant attracts.
25/09/2026: We waited in line for an hour and a half. The bouncers at the entrance told us we had to reserve a table to get in, so we decided to leave and they let everyone else in. There were four girls and two boys in our group.

29/08/2026: The Tarte Flambée was excellent, as was the side salad. My husband had the goats cheese salad which was a little disappointing. The beer was well chilled and the service was very efficient. Nice location.
13/08/2026: The location is very attractive with a view of the Ill River, but the service is extremely poor, and the food is even worse! It's all mass-produced and dry. The only redeeming feature is the view...

I really appreciated him offering us cups for our drinks. Thank you very much!
01/08/2026: The two people there that day did nothing but talk amongst themselves in their own language, were unpleasant, and incredibly slow making our two measly paninis. There was a single piece of salmon in mine, just to give us a tiny bit of flavor with each bite. Avoid at all costs!

02/09/2025: So, where to begin...
We ordered a burrito, a "salad," and nachos from Deliveroo.
- First, the salad: a complete joke, if not outright false advertising! I've attached a photo of the salad Fresh Burritos advertises on their website versus the salad I received 😉
It's a disgrace. The salad is supposed to be in a crispy wheat tortilla, but there was nothing of the sort. €10.50 for a measly little salad that I could have made myself.
- The burrito: once the packaging was removed, the sauce leaked everywhere, and the burrito was cold! We had to eat it on a plate, with cutlery (goodbye Mexico 👋).
- The nachos: €3.50 a bag with a measly 10 chips, and of course, the sauces were miraculously omitted 🤷
To top it all off, the restaurant is unreachable. Yet another franchise hiding behind a terrible customer service line.
