25/04/2026: The service was CATASTROPHIC and they offered no apology. You'll be treated worse if you're younger than other customers! I generally like this restaurant, but our last visit on Thursday, April 2nd, at lunchtime (with a reservation) was unfortunately a terrible experience with awful service. From the moment we arrived, our waitress seemed to be avoiding our table and those of our neighbors after seating us next to a large, extremely noisy group. We waited ages for our order to be taken (almost 20 minutes). When it finally arrived, she told us there would be a bit of a wait for the food (no big deal, it happens). Our drinks never arrived either, and we had to ask another waitress for them. After 35-40 minutes, we finally received our appetizers. We thought the main courses would arrive quickly, but after waiting for over an hour, still nothing (while tables that arrived 30 to 45 minutes after us were already being served). No explanation, no apology from our waitress, who continued to avoid our table. We finally decided to leave. When it came time to pay, yet another waitress took care of us, and we complained about having spent about two hours in the restaurant and only receiving appetizers. We paid full price for our appetizers, without any compensation whatsoever, despite our clearly expressed dissatisfaction. And our waitress remained completely unresponsive until the very end. I sincerely wonder: are we treated less well because we are among the younger customers of the establishment? This experience was extremely disappointing because I normally enjoy this restaurant. But this was disrespectful and a huge waste of time. A major disappointment from La Hache.

25/04/2026: A very enjoyable experience with excellent food. However, the sesame cocktail (which was still being perfected) was a bit bland; a touch of acidity wouldn't have hurt. The frog legs lacked seasoning. However, the sea bream was truly delicious. The starters, with the foie gras and the perfect egg, were a great start. Highly recommended.

11/05/2026: Crocodile restaurant approved!!! Gourmet cuisine on the menu. Indulge in the 6-course tasting menu. One small drawback: exorbitant drink prices!!! A common problem in France!! Exceptional service!!!!

Everything is LICKER, more than just good... especially their Thai chicken, hummus, vegan dishes, carrot cake, and... the list goes on... I really enjoyed the warm welcome and service from the three charming young women today. I've been a fan of this food since 2024. Impressive and beautiful tattoos too... 😉🙂 Another one saved my life 💪💪 with a simple bandage 😊😊 or my finger 😄 after a cut... In short, great energy from the whole team, especially two blondes (one of whom I helped clear a table on a Monday after some clueless tourists left their trash behind 👎👎👎) and of course the lovely tattooed brunette who manages/trains 👏👏👏👏. 14/01/2026: Very disappointed that the salads have changed and no longer contain the same ingredients. The least they could have done was mention it on the website. If you could bring back the pearl barley salad as an ingredient, that would be perfect, thank you =)

10/01/2026: I've been coming here for years. I confess, I've fallen in love with one sandwich; I always get the same one. It's hard for me to judge the others now, but given the quality of the products, I have little doubt. When I walk into the shop, after exchanging greetings, a voice asks me, "A Quentin?" And I say yes. That's also what makes me love this place. They recognize you; you're a little more than just a customer. The welcome is warm and attentive. It's always a real pleasure to come here.

27/04/2026: The coffee was burnt, the food was good but the portions were too small for the price.

22/04/2026: The only small café we've been to in Strasbourg of this style. Nothing exceptional. The drinks were decent. The matcha was good, though it tasted mostly of milk and not really tasted like matcha. The carrot cake was okay too, though I wasn't a big fan of the cream. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a queue and people were rushing to get a table. The staff were friendly and pleasant.

26/04/2026: Couldn’t finish my coffee. It was really bad. The pain au chocolate was very tasty though.
