Various a la carte menu.
Addition for two €126: starters + main courses + dessert + cocktails + a digestive.
The sole was excellent with preparation in front of my eyes.
Everything was well cooked and tasty.
A nice moment spent together.
02/04/2024: The meal was simply exquisite. Too bad the service was not up to par. We started with an aperitif. We asked for a second appetizer because we expected from someone who was late. The lack of coordination and dialogue between the servers meant that we received the imperative at the same time as our entries. We asked the waitress if we could wait a little while the person who was on call in a hospital environment arrived so that we could eat the dish at the same time as her. She answered us. Be careful, we close at 4 p.m. I don't find that very friendly and diplomatic on his part. Having been in the catering profession for 19 years, I know what I'm talking about, we hadn't even finished our main course yet this person was already taking the plates away from us while one person hadn't finished I think he missing a chef. It's a shame that the Service is not at the same level as the Cuisine

04/04/2024: I was curious to try the famous Safran which many consider to be the best kebab in Caen. I went there once in 2023, came back perplexed and decided to return recently to get a second opinion. This one hasn't changed. I don't understand the craze. The doner is not bad, and the ingredients are undoubtedly of good quality, but it is not very good either. Not very spicy or seasoned, the sauce does not manage to raise the level of fairly dry meat. The fries, which are completely ordinary, don't help restore the image. As for the welcome, the establishment being tiny you can more or less forget to eat on site and the service, provided by I think a couple of elderly parents and their son is friendly but not very talkative.

05/04/2024: The waitress didn't let us enjoy our coffee, she walked back and forth in front of our table, after making us uncomfortable with a derogatory comment....
His black look telling us that we were unwelcome...we ended up in another, more welcoming cafe...too bad!!!
I would like to add another astonishing event that just happened this morning, I was having coffee with a work colleague at the bar/tabac next to Cofféa, the waitress recognized me and came out of her shop to come and bother me in front of everyone. customers, shouting with big gestures "are you not ashamed of what you do?" and I replied that I did not wish to discuss a negative opinion of course but entirely legitimate in view of his inappropriate behavior and the the detestable reception she had given me the day before.
She also went to speak to the manager of the tobacco bar, so that he could possibly get involved in her story and take her side, bad luck, we are regulars at this place and have always been well received....
In short, I have the right to provide the opinions I wish with as much honesty as possible when I consider that I have been hurt by inappropriate or even discriminatory behavior.

02/04/2024: Incredible manager!!! (he served on 03/27 at 12:45 p.m.)
I just witnessed a truly amazing scene! The 2 customers right in front of me wanted to pay €5 in red coins... The girl throws her machine gun on the counter in the middle of a rush, she speaks too badly! In the end there was €0.30 missing, they wanted to pay it in credit card 🤦 30 cents in credit card, no messing around! So the manager explained very kindly that the minimum credit card is 1€ but they started to be even more stupid than they already were... The customers became aggressive, they asked for the identity of the manager, threatened to call the police... All this in the middle of a rush with a lot of people waiting..
In short, despite all that, the manager remained on top, super polite, courteous, professional! Frankly respect him and bravo for his ability to keep calm and continue to smile. He is really very, very good at his job and deserves better than to be treated like that by k-sos.
Congratulations again to the manager. Give him a bonus he deserves it 😂
