04/07/2026: Update: Very good restaurant, and superb welcome, attentive staff. That was in 2022.
2026: Very helpful staff, but the quality of the food has declined. There were four of us, and three were disappointed by the quality of the dishes.
€30 for dishes with little preparation and serious doubts about the freshness of the ingredients. A shame.
30/06/2026: Food was delicious starter was a meat pâte planche with french bread .main course chicken Burger césar stylé. Prices ok

10/06/2026: I usually don't say anything, but this is outrageous. I'm a regular customer at this McDonald's, and every time there's a problem (wrong order, no sauce, cold fries, missing items, and even a waitress who once spilled ice cream on my son's stroller (last summer!!).
Today, June 9th, I ordered click and collect. I went to the restaurant, the order arrived, I quickly checked (which, if they did their job properly, I wouldn't have to do), and I realized the Big Mac sauce was missing (the sauce I pay €0.50 more for because it's the special of the moment). It's just not right to forget an item. I flagged down a waitress in the parking lot, and she brought me the sauce.
So I went home. Once I got there, my little boy was quite disappointed to discover they'd forgotten his World Cup cup. Football! A glass that I paid €1.30 extra for on top of my meal!! This is completely unacceptable!!! I had to make an extra trip (it's for a child) to go and get it (20 minutes there - 20 minutes back)!
When I got back to McDonald's, they gave it to me, but not even a word of apology, not even a gesture of goodwill, NOTHING!
It's a disgrace how you treat your customers!!
For anyone reading this, if you ever have the chance to go to another McDonald's, go there; you'll definitely be less disappointed than if you order from this one.
To the staff at the Cognac McDonald's, if you want to verify what I'm saying, it's order number D 86**, and my name was written down by one of your employees!

14/04/2026: Fantastic experience at lunchtime! The kebab was generously filled, absolutely delicious, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, quick, and above all, very friendly. You immediately feel welcome. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

01/07/2026: I've been shopping at this store for years. I've never been disappointed. But my experience on Saturday was very disappointing... we went to the fish counter to buy mussels. The woman saw us waiting but didn't come to serve us, didn't even say hello. So we waited patiently for her to decide to serve us. She took her time. Then, when she finally served us, she seemed grumpy, unpleasant, and very, very slow. Anyway, we didn't say anything... we ate the mussels that evening and all night, and the next day I was sick. Which doesn't surprise me. In fact, that Saturday, the fish counter was swarming with flies. My partner and I even saw a whole salmon, with three flies on its head, that had laid eggs. It was disgusting 🤮 and if we saw it, don't tell me the fishmonger didn't see it.... I won't be buying seafood from this store again...
30/06/2026: Large supermarket where we did our shopping and had lunch at the L'Entracte cafeteria, very good, reasonable prices.

14/05/2026: We went in for a cocktail on a rainy early evening on a public holiday. The bar was empty, so the bar man served us quickly. He explained the additional menu that could be found with a QR code. We had 4 cocktails and a wine. The cocktail of the day was terrible, mixed with fizzy water and loads of ice - it may have been better without all the water and ice. The sidecar tasted watery, maybe just not as much cognac used as the version that we are used to. All served with a small bowl of nuts for the table. We were expecting something special because of the reviews, but were disappointed.
13/04/2026: Advertised as open until 1am. Stood here are 23:59 after a half an hour walk. Shame. Please update these to avoid disappointing customers and wasting their time.

Bar Brasserie La Renaissance

17/05/2026: One star because I can't give zero. We arrived 15 minutes before closing time (the terrace was packed with people, and our beers were still full). Our friends were already seated and still had full beers. I politely told them we wouldn't be more than 15 minutes to finish ours, and also so we wouldn't be without a drink while our friends finished theirs. It was no use; they said no, the bar was closed and they weren't serving any more beer.
13/05/2026: The glass and spoon of the requested Perrier with a slice of lemon were dirty!! Will not be repeated.
