24/02/2026: Very tired God forgotten place with food that reminded me of post war times and where cappuccino tasted more like hot chocolate and costs 4 euros per coffee even though the price on the machine clearly states 2.60 euros. It took 5 min for someone to come out from the kitchen to serve us. Food and deco looked so uninviting that we decided to just order a coffee and leave. I would not recommend.

10/02/2026: Update from January 10, 2026: Back at this cafe and it was very, very good, simple, and inexpensive. Basic but very tasty starters. Main course: roast chicken, super delicious, with green vegetables, potatoes, and jus. Absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a generous portion! A small chocolate mousse-style dessert, so very good. I loved it because it was well-prepared and homemade; it was absolutely delicious, well done! Original post: Great food. We had the chicken escalope with tarragon sauce, which was to die for: perfectly tender, flavorful, a delight. The vegetables were great. The welcome was incredibly kind and pleasant; we felt very comfortable. The decor is very nice. In short, a good cafe-style restaurant, but of high quality. Just a slightly smaller selection of starters and desserts, but it's not a big deal. Thank you to the owners.

06/06/2026: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE !!! Absolutely appalling experience from start. The customer service was incredibly poor, and what made it even worse was the attitude of the management. I would not recommend this business to anyone. There are plenty of places that value their customers and know how to treat people with basic courtesy and respect. Extremely disappointing experience. The boat is outdated and feels like a retirement village. Bad smell inside and outdated decor. They should actually be shut down and not be allowed to operate.

01/06/2026: The booking seemed a little sketchy but the experience was first class. Food was magnificent obviously, and the views are as good as you think. The boat first goes east just past the Louvre then turns around and goes all the way west past the Eiffel Tower then turns around again. If you get a window seat you’re guaranteed all the best views.

20/05/2026: Original salad concept with customizable ingredients. Set menu: salad + drink + dessert. Very good.

19/07/2026: Arrived with a baby and no seats available... Supposedly there were 3... I asked if it was possible to check if there were any other seats... The response was no, instead of going to look behind me and finding a solution... My McDonald's card, supposedly hacked, wouldn't work... Luckily I had some change... I paid and decided to give myself the points, as the manager usually does... A short, blond man with glasses refused and told me, verbatim, to sort it out myself, that it wasn't his problem. Yes, yes, it is his problem because all the managers do it!!!! This isn't the first time I've had problems with this particular McDonald's... Plus, he's condescending and tells me it's not possible, even though other McDonald's have done it... When it's not a problem with the order, it's a problem with the food (he spills a handful of salt and pepper in the hamburgers and makes them inedible). Where have the real managers from before gone, with their smiles and kindness? In short...it doesn't even surprise me anymore that the McDonald's in Port Sainte Foy isn't doing well with these kinds of attitudes...

13/07/2026: Absolutely disgusting, error in the order! Avoid at all costs!

02/07/2026: I had the opportunity to eat there one evening during our last meal of our vacation, and I was very disappointed. It's more like a working-class restaurant than anything else; apart from the good wine, I can't say the food lives up to expectations. No local products, the duck leg was dry... and so on. The price doesn't justify what you get on your plate, unfortunately.

30/06/2026: We only had dinner. A very warm welcome and an excellent Périgord meal. A pleasant atmosphere among the staff and a friendly local feel. I recommend it.
