16/12/2024: Baked apples? More like “microwaved apples”: not golden, not roasted, in short, disappointing. Fortunately, the rest of the dishes save the honor, and the service, despite a few errors, remains friendly. An address to consider, but perhaps not for lovers of roasted apples!

01/10/2024: I ate there yesterday with a friend following a recommendation. Very warm welcome on the phone for the reservation, and the same on site. The team is very friendly, the decor is magnificent and the dishes are delicious! The Versailles lives up to its name! I found my favorite restaurant for all my trips to Limoges.
30/09/2024: In this very French, truly classic restaurant, I ate sweetbreads for the first time. The food was delicious, but, for the less experienced, my advice: don't think too hard about what you eat. Hats off to Le Versailles for their charming and pretty restaurant inside!

Rustic fries -> very good.
I had a good meal, it was warm, and it was clean. I recommend it.

22/09/2024: My husband and I visited Limoges on our way to Toulouse and called in unannounced at Le Cheverny. We had the most incredible meal, the staff were brilliant and we wish we had time to stay longer. We highly recommend everything about this wonderful restaurant!

12/09/2024: 31 août 2024 au déjeuner : quelle est cette fantaisie à perdre son temps en demandant les prénoms de chaque personne, une nouveauté non encore expérimentée, inutile dont nous nous serions bien dispensés car, cela n'apporte rien à la qualité du menu, inexistante. Beaucoup de blabla & de perte de temps, pour nous expliquer comment son buffet fonctionne (comme si nous ne connaissions pas ce genre de pratique). Les explications : "fait par moi", "pas fait par moi" ne rassure pas spécialement, principalement lorsque l'on est allés se servir au buffet : l'hygiène laisse plus qu'à désirer !!!!! aucune protection, ni fermeture pour éviter d'éventuelles projections ou autres mouches, insectes venir s'y déposer. Tout est dans la discussion, le concret est tout autre, la qualité, la présentation des ingrédients ne sont pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués. A EVITER A TOUT PRIX, NE SURTOUT PAS S'ARRETER A L'ESCALE GOURMANDE, nom très ronflant n'ayant RIEN DE GOURMAND.

Poulet-frites au top !
Très bon rapport qualité-prix, en tenant compte des buffets entrées et desserts à volonté.

Two cars ahead, a first order that has nothing to do with mine. Then a second where the desserts paid for are not the right ones...
Almost an hour there.........
31/08/2024: Restaurant, very dirty (soles + tables) staff, possibly unpleasant (not all). Sandwich, practically without sauce and cold, fries, hard and cold. Very very long service, yet arrived at 4 p.m. in a practically empty restaurant

08/09/2024: Quite fancy hostel with great food and varied breakfasts. Be sure to take a look at the impressive wine cellar - and get advice! A gastronomic experience without chi chi.
Rooms are surprisingly well equipped and the view in the restaurant is phenomenal!

Nous avons attendu plus de 20 minutes nos poké (alors qu'il y avait personne...)
Sur 3 poké, 2 n'étaient pas conformes à la commande : 2 ingrédients + le supplément manquant dans l'un, un ingrédient en plus (des cacahouètes....j'y suis allergique, heureusement que je m'en suis aperçue et que c'est une allergie légère) dans l'autre.
Enfin, oubli des sauces et des couverts...je peux admettre une erreur mais là ça fait beaucoup...
04/10/2024: Je viens de tester pour la premiere fois en livraison à domicile sur le site Pokawa. Sur 2 menus commandés et règles je n'en ai reçu qu'un, le livreur n'a pas voulu revenir en boutique chercher les articles manquants et j'attends encore le remboursement de Pokawa. C'est honteux !
