29/01/2026: Lunch yesterday for my father-in-law's 80th birthday. There were six of us, and we all unanimously loved it, from the appetizers to the desserts. The food was incredible! The owner offered a chocolate fondant with a candle and background music—a lovely gesture for the occasion. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. But when I asked the cashier for the sauces, he gave me the wrong ones. I ended up with curry sauce, which I don't like... Honey, learn to read your receipt, please, because I'm going to eat my tenders without sauce; they're so dry...

10/01/2026: Finally, a fast food place where the meat is fresh, not too salty, the fries are real, and all at an affordable price.

09/12/2025: Okay, let's just say it's my go-to spot for morning coffee. They've done a lot of renovations, and they also recently bought a ramp so I can get in with my wheelchair. They also recently created an opening in the kitchen, so we can see everything that's going on—talk about transparency! Special shout-out to my little bearded guy with glasses and a ponytail. He'll know who he is, won't he, my sweetie?

11/11/2025: Amazing vegan cafe 🌱🫶🏻 The matcha is absolutely delicious, and the pancakes are too. The place is super cute, and the person who works there is very friendly. Can't wait to go back. I wish I had a cafe like this near my house 🥹

15/01/2026: After a fantastic experience two years ago, we wanted to return. This time, however, we were extremely disappointed by the dishes, which were bland and lacked flavor, and the duck breast was overcooked. The service, on the other hand, was quite good.

11/12/2025: Review from December 2025: Oh dear, what a change Trinquefougasse has undergone. The beloved "La Mer" planche is no longer available. Unfortunately, the restaurant has only declined in quality over the last 3-4 years. The service is far less attentive than before. Today, we were simply laughed at when the squid (seiche) on the skewer was still almost raw even after being returned to the kitchen for an extra round. This is not how you handle complaints. The food is nowhere near the same quality as it was 4 years ago. Where has the freshness gone? Even the bread seems several days old. Every year, on our way to/from Spain, we used to stay overnight in Montpellier and visit this restaurant. We will unfortunately have to find somewhere else. What a shame! Review from November 2022: As always, friendly and good. We love this restaurant with its good food, great wines, and lovely atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, but not always necessary.

28/01/2026: It's lovely to sit outside. The prices are very student-friendly! A quarter liter of wine costs €3. They also have half a liter for €5 and a liter for €10. We'll definitely be back!

18/01/2026: Very trendy place, I come here for breakfast every day (a hazelnut coffee and three rolls) the waiters are lovely I feel at home here, soon I'll be moving in under the counter.
