01/03/2024: However, not the first time I order, really disappointed. Potatoes that just look like slightly thick fries, almost no raw vegetables in the sandwiches. Wholemeal bread supposed to be bakery and very good, to finish with a classic industrial burger bread. The time before I ordered wings which arrived burnt and inedible.

Throughout the meal, exceptional quality from the presentation of the menu to the detail of the dishes and desserts, very warm staff, very good meal. We recommend without hesitation. 25/04/2024: This restaurant is a great discovery. Working in the gastronomic category, the contents of the plates are up to par. A relatively short menu indicates a cuisine using fresh produce. The service is very friendly. Go eat at the Pyrenees, you will have a good time.

18/08/2023: Came on a Friday evening during the night market, the waiter took 15 minutes to take our order (there were 2 of us), he passed back and forth without counting us... yet the terrace was far from being crowded... he finally took our order... we are still waiting for it... after another 20 minutes and seeing that 2 tables that arrived after us were served before us, we told the waiter that we were leaving, with a displeased look, he apologized but the lack of professionalism is not acceptable in the middle of the summer season. We are locals, we will tell all our friends about it.

27/10/2023: For several years I have been going there at least once a season, I preferred the former owners commercially speaking., on the kitchen side, already the service is mega long, the time to settle down and take the order on average 30 minutes... So it's really passable, when we finally deign to take care of ourselves, the service remains long, on average 15 minutes to get drinks, so basically 45 minutes to wait for nothing... The mussels are good (fortunately ), we were never sick, but poorly prepared, since the mussels do not cook in the sauce, a serious mistake in our opinion... Fortunately it remains affordable.
But every year it doesn't get better in fact, it's always a "friends first" atmosphere at Penon... And I've been spending my holidays there for over 35 years, I grew up at the penon... And I still can't stand these "anti-tourist house is happy that they fill our pockets" atmosphere
