18/08/2026: Passing through from Normandy, my partner and I had a wonderful time. The welcome and the food were impeccable. The dishes were of remarkable quality. We loved our visit and wholeheartedly recommend this brasserie. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

01/07/2026: A fantastic experience! The food was delicious and excellent value for money. But what really made the difference was the service: the servers were lovely, smiling, attentive, and very professional. A warm welcome that makes you want to come back!
14/06/2026: Incredible discovery!!! Passing through Angers for a stag do, we had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday evening. Despite our late reservation, the lady on the phone was very kind to accommodate us, especially for a party of seven. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always smiling! The waitresses were very competent and friendly, very professional, and helped us have a pleasant time! The food was also a magnificent discovery! I had the Italian-style beef tartare, which was truly exquisite. Unfortunately, they were out of new potatoes, so we were offered pea purée and rice. The pea purée was incredible! The dessert, the Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), was equally excellent with its bed of Breton shortbread and caramel. As a digestif, we were recommended the mint pastille, which was just as excellent… a magnificent dinner and an extraordinary experience! Thank you so much, and I will definitely be back!

01/04/2026: If you're ever in Angers, a stop at Gaël's place in Le Ronceray is a must.
Gaël is the kind of bistro owner we love: authentic, generous, and always ready with a joke. People come as much for the atmosphere as for the food. It's a place where life is good, there's banter, laughter... and it feels great.
Speaking of food, there's nothing to complain about: fresh, delicious, and genuine. Well-prepared ingredients, no frills, but bursting with flavor. And what about the wines? Always the perfect accompaniment, with excellent bottles to enjoy. Le Ronceray is more than just a restaurant; it's a true social hub. The food is great, the drinks are great, and above all, you have a fantastic time.

07/05/2026: After a day exploring Angers, we had a lovely time at L'Angevigne.
The welcome was very friendly, and we had an interesting chat with the manager. There was a good selection of wines, and the platters (mixed for us) were of high quality.

For anyone wanting to avoid processed food and try fresh products,
the spring rolls are firm and well-filled.
Highly recommended.
Perhaps the sauces could be a bit spicier, with a hint of chili.

A very bad experience. We had barely sat down when the owner came over and asked us to choose immediately, even though we hadn't had time to look at the menu. His attitude was unpleasant throughout the meal, and his manner of speaking to us was disrespectful.
We were a group of nine, but we were seated at only two small tables, which was far from adequate. Several chairs were in poor condition, some even broken. Even the water served had an unpleasant taste.
The most disturbing aspect was the owner's attitude. He came and sat right next to our table to keep an eye on us. We heard him say, "Squatters are being hunted down," and then, pointing at us, "Do you see those kids over there?" Hearing this kind of remark as a customer is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a profound lack of respect.
Finally, the advertised special offers were not honored, which made this experience even more disappointing.
Ultimately, it's an establishment where we felt neither welcome nor respected. I do not recommend it.
