07/02/2026: We ordered two takeaway kebabs; they were very good, and the fries and sauce were also excellent. The owner is a person with strong values; I recommend this establishment.

02/02/2026: We arrived in Saumur starving after a long day. I'm not sure I have the right words to describe the pleasure this kebab gave me. Quality bread, comforting meat, and a truly generous filling. Let me go back to the bread; you won't find better bread in Saumur, or anywhere else in Maine-et-Loire or the Loire region, or anywhere else in my opinion. This exceptional woman ran the place single-handedly, and let me tell you, few things run as smoothly as this one—not even the Earth spins so well on its axis. So, for all the reasons mentioned so far, and for others that simply can't be explained in a review: thank you, and hats off to the chef!

02/01/2026: Bistro in the center of Saumur. An unpretentious place, like a neighborhood bar, serving traditional home-style cooking. The duck parmentier and the croque monsieur were delicious. The portions are very generous. The manager was very friendly and did her best to communicate with us even though we don't speak French. The food took a little while to arrive, but that was perfectly reasonable considering she was in charge of the bar, the tables, the kitchen… Good value for money.

13/12/2025: A place where you're guaranteed a great time! The food is delicious and plentiful. As for the atmosphere, I think Google should give it a few more stars. A big thank you to Chantal and her regulars for a lovely evening! Warmest regards from Perpignan… 😉
