We were a group of 8 with a pre-booked reservation and arrived on time.
No one greeted us. After waiting for a while, someone didn't ask for the reservation name and directed us to a table that wasn't ours. After insisting, they checked our name and finally showed us to the correct table.
The set menus were already reserved, €34.90 x 8. The meal was clearly marked as gluten-free, but no bread was provided to eat with the foie gras! A waiter had to go to the bakery next door during service, but to no avail! The foie gras would have to be eaten without bread!!!
Another person found a piece of plastic wrap in their plate under the slice of foie gras… And that's not all! When it came time to pay, the cashier made a mistake with the bill. We were taken back to our table and told that €81 was missing!
No preparation whatsoever, despite a pre-booked reservation!!! No welcome at all!!!
The meal was very good, and thankfully this disorganized establishment has an extremely pleasant and professional waiter on staff!! Thank you, Tom.
As for the rest! The word "disappointment" is an understatement!!!

21/09/2026: Friendly saleswoman, great discovery of the "smash croissant" topped with salted caramel and another with chocolate hazelnut, I especially recommend that on Saturdays from 6pm everything is -50%!
29/08/2026: Disappointed, the salad cost €7.20, it was pathetic, there was practically nothing in it.

12/09/2026: I absolutely do not recommend it: the main course was served in tiny, snail-sized portions, the fries were industrial-looking, and the price was €20 (rounding to the nearest 30 cents) – it's outrageous. We were so disgusted that we didn't even want to order the dessert, which was priced at almost €10 (again, rounding to the nearest cent)... The dessert would have been no bigger than a petit four, given the small portions... One thing's for sure: once is enough, not even for a drink.
The manager is very nice and attentive, but that certainly doesn't make up for everything else...
07/08/2026: A difficult experience, an unfriendly welcome, we were refused a seat inside even though all the tables were empty. Our child seemed to be inconvenienced as there was no seating provided for a 3-year-old, no smaller portions available, and no children's menu. (I didn't demand anything at all; I even offered to leave because my daughter, indeed, wouldn't be able to eat an adult's portion at her age.) There was no cook, and the food seemed to have been microwaved. The quality was poor.
Around us, we saw people who wanted to eat being rudely turned away. An awkward situation. Prices far too high.
We obviously do not recommend this place. We were misled by previous reviews (change of ownership).

11/05/2024: L'endroit ne paie pas de mine MAIS, très bonne cuisine maison, c'est copieux et authentique et les patrons sont adorables.
Allez y, c'est une très bonne adresse.
Cuisine maison bien sûr réalisé par la patronne. Prix très doux.
24/02/2024: Je recommande ce restaurant. Un accueil très chaleureux et des plats très bons et copieux. Une très belle découverte avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix.

25/07/2024: Des produits industriels remballés sous nos yeux! Nutella et Coca-Cola… bref rien de frais excepté le jus d’orange…facturé 4,5€ pour 15 cl avec les glaçons…! Passez votre chemin si vous voulez un bon petit déjeuner.
16/07/2024: We visited this small coffee shop in Saumur for a morning coffee stop. There was a large selection of drinks. The usual favourites were there along with smoothies and bubble teas. The shop was modern clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful as we speak some French but between us our order was sorted. We also got a recommendation for lunch from the staff which added to our day. I would recommend this stop for fresh coffee and a spot of people watching.
