The value for money is truly perfect!
Just one small drawback: the wait between the main course and dessert was a bit long.
Their dog was very friendly; my son spent the whole time playing with it. Thank you so much!

We had some tapas as a starter and then pizzas.
The ham croquettes were really low quality, cooked in oil that hadn't been changed... (They were black).
The rabas (a type of flatbread) were the same, cooked in oil that hadn't been changed...
The Bayonne ham was too thick and had absolutely no flavor.
The worst part was the frozen pizzas. I mean, if you're going to eat pizza like that, you might as well have made one at home from the corner store...
A total rip-off!

13/06/2026: What a fantastic find! While on holiday in Bayonne, I went twice because I loved it so much! The café has a great vibe, the waitresses are lovely, and most importantly, the coffee is delicious. I tried the latte and the iced latte, both excellent. I also highly recommend the dark chocolate and hazelnut cookie – it was amazing!
09/06/2026: A lovely setting for afternoon tea. The vegan brownie was simply divine. Everything is delicious. The terrace is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

25/08/2026: Several experiences at different times of the day. Coffee in the morning. Lunch at midday. After-work drinks in the evening. Lovely waiter. Simple and delicious food at a reasonable price. Warm atmosphere, a place where locals of all ages seem to enjoy meeting up. I recommend it.

20/08/2026: It's still a McDonald's, but the service is fast and the guy, who I think is a manager, offers a small ice cream or something else to help pass the time when you're waiting too long; that's a nice gesture, thank you.
16/08/2026: A Restaurant That Has Lost Its Quality
This McDonald's is unfortunately no longer what it used to be. The wait time is consistently long, regardless of the time of day. As for the food, the quality has significantly declined: the fries are often stale, lukewarm, or completely lacking in salt. To top it all off, an item is very often missing from the order (sauce, drink, or burger). It's truly a shame for a chain that's supposed to offer fast food. A serious effort in terms of organization and freshness is needed.

Cafe Moka

14/09/2024: Cafe Moka is a really good bar in Petit Bayonne, which is the area on the other side of La Nive, ie opposite Les Halles.
Along with a few other bars it is situated in a nice open area and has indoor and outdoor seating. We only came for beers but the combination platter of hams, sausage cheese etc looked so good we had one, which was excellent, and we stayed for a few more beers .
The service here is top class and this is a super cafe bar.

24/04/2024: Hier au Mc Donald de Bayonne Nord. Attende de 45 mn au Drive. En plus ils oublient la sauce. Je fais remarquer à la serveuse le temps d’attente et elle me répond que j’ai une commande avec des Burgers chaud. C’est déjà pas mal
