18/05/2026: Magnificent hotel. Spacious and comfortable room. The staff is pleasant, very friendly, and helpful.
The pool, the spa, and the proximity to the town center are all excellent.
If you're passing through Contrexéville, book this hotel!
12/05/2026: We spent five days at this hotel near the Contrexéville thermal baths and have wonderful memories of our stay.
The building is magnificent, full of charm, and very well maintained.
The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Special mention also goes to the restaurant: the meals were excellent and the service was top-notch.
We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay.
We recommend this hotel without hesitation and will gladly return.

Four years after my comment, I'm very sorry to see that nothing has changed. 40 minutes to be served and over 20 minutes standing at the counter waiting for ice cream I wouldn't even buy. I will report this to higher management.

13/09/2026: Just now, there's a big offer displayed: a sharing box for €6 with the purchase of up to two meals, and an employee stammers, "Uh, no, it's on the app." So why display it so prominently at the drive-thru? McDonald's is the iconic brand, but people are turning their backs on it, and increasingly so, and it's easy to see why...
29/08/2026: August 29, 2026: Absolutely outrageous! The manager is completely unprofessional, calling drive-thru customers "fat pigs" after they placed a large order.
Furthermore, a non-French person who came to exchange a Spiderman (but returned a slightly crushed box) was called a "loser" behind their back, then threw the box on the counter, complaining loudly that it was unsellable.
And the numerous stares directed at the women were simply disgusting.
All this was too much to bear while waiting for our takeout order... This is a deplorable attitude for a manager; their position needs to be reviewed urgently!

09/09/2026: The young man at the drive-thru sighed when we placed our order, only understanding half of it... He told me €17.90 for two kids' meals and two wraps 🙄🙄
Of course, there was no receipt, so I didn't see it right away...
And of course, without a receipt, it was impossible to check the prices...
He charged me for an extra kids' meal without giving it to me 😡
He didn't offer to give us a toy or a book if we wanted one 🤷🏼♀️
Anyway, I would have been better off going to bed than ordering there.

17/06/2026: It is set in a beautiful place at a pleasant lake with hills surrounding the campsite.
Unfortunately we did not get a 4 star feeling. The grass was in bad quality we were placed next to some deserted caravans, and above all a sap beetle infestation made us leave early.

07/09/2026: The restaurant is located near several shopping areas, so it's quite convenient to go there after shopping. The service is relatively quick, depending on how busy it is, but generally it's pretty good. The restrooms are also in a good state of general hygiene, which is appreciated in a place that's often very busy. I go there often, which is proof of my satisfaction.
07/09/2026: A 1 hour and 17 minute wait for a takeout order…
Order placed at 7:43 PM, only picked up at 9:00 PM. During this entire wait, we received no real explanation, only a "sorry for the wait."
What's most incomprehensible is that the restaurant didn't even seem particularly crowded. Several customers around us were also unhappy: some were leaving without their orders, others were asking for refunds. The problem seemed far from isolated.
After waiting 1 hour and 17 minutes, we still had a 20-minute drive home. As a result, we were no longer hungry and didn't even finish our entire order.
I can understand that there might be an exceptional delay, but 1 hour and 17 minutes without explanation or any real assistance is unacceptable.

14/06/2026: Until now, I assumed food safety standards in France were something I could take for granted. The strawberry ice cream tasted distinctly off, to the point where we questioned whether it had been stored properly. Thank you for making me reevaluate that assumption.
16/03/2026: When I got home there was nobody there, I understand better now. He served me bubble tea with black dust in the liquid, and he dared to try and tell me it was raspberry pieces when it was just his equipment that was dirty. The place was truly disgusting.

The old lady (owner or employee, I don't know) has a thing against people in wheelchairs and has literally chased me away twice! She should be ashamed of herself. I'm also considering filing a discrimination complaint. Impossible!

24/09/2026: Hello, it was our first time at a club.
When making the reservation, we mentioned it was our first time, and he advised us to come when it opened so he could explain everything and give us a tour of the club.
The owner gave us the tour, offering advice and putting us at ease. He explained that we could say no at any time and that we could choose whether or not to go through with it. My wife and I made love with the curtain drawn; we felt more comfortable that way.
There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the club. This is the only hotel where I didn't tell my wife to be quieter when she reached the stars; in fact, the room next door did the same thing 😃 It was a wonderful experience. After 31 years with my wife, we had fallen into a routine, and for the past three weeks, our relationship has been reborn. Even if you're just chatting, it's very exciting and gives the relationship a real boost.
The next morning, the owner and some friends went to run an errand. We chatted with his wife, who was super nice. She did tell me I had a mean look during the evening, but I'm a marshmallow who's just discovered something crazy. I'm super stressed, sorry. Hugs to the team, if the owner allows it 🤩

The atmosphere was great, the facilities were lovely, we ate well in the evenings and at breakfast, we met some wonderful people 👍, and the owner, his friendly wife, and their staff were fantastic and professional.
I highly recommend this club 👍😊 We'll be back! 🥰
