27/03/2024: We went to dinner at this Tholy restaurant and had a great time. The welcome, the atmosphere, the cuisine, everything is perfect. From the Vosges quiche, to the shank with Munster sauce, including the incredible chef's cut for dessert, what a treat! Thank you again for this cuisine and for these reunions.
25/03/2024: A first visit for us and certainly not the last.
A warm welcome, impeccable service with a caring owner throughout the meal.
A small daily menu at the top, homemade with fresh produce.
Small 4-legged companion allowed in the restaurant.
We will return with pleasure 👍

01/04/2024: This place is perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner, with a selection of local cheeses and wines on offer. It has the capacity to accommodate hundreds of guests simultaneously and provides convenient parking facilities.

Do not take the gourmet plate: bland terrine, foie gras without any added value, salad with tasteless vinaigrette, etc.
Savoyard escalope on the other hand tasty.
Desserts 🍨 good but unfortunately presented with sadness

23/03/2024: I have just read the reviews which are all top notch but the fact of pointing out that there are no fries, mayonnaise, ketchup at your place annoys me given that all these homemade products with local producers are no less good! It's not bad food to allow yourself these dishes from time to time. Best wishes.

10/03/2024: I do not recommend this restaurant the food was not good starter main course and dessert nothing was good and there were several of us with different choices, we returned home we were sick to the stomach so move on
I don't understand the positive reviews of this address, plus there is no play area for children, it's shameful in the middle of the mountains... and the tables outside look like you're at the campsite..

Starter, main course and dessert for 13€90 it's great and what's more it's super good and every day there is a fish dish, a meat dish, and even a vegetarian dish, and just in case there are always several types of choxi pancake and 3 possible accompaniments and the little extra in summer, the terrace on the edge of the river

Friendly and smiling waitresses

After being recommended by the receptionist at the Hotel de la P., located less than 200 meters away, we were eager to discover this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The Vosges plate and carbonade looked promising on the menu, but the reality fell well short of our expectations. The Morteau sausage was non-existent, the salad seemed to come from a bag and the carbonade was flavorless. Even the fries seemed to have been overcooked. The waitresses did their best to compensate, but it wasn't enough to cover up the kitchen's shortcomings.
Additionally, our table was poorly placed, between the changing room and the toilets, which affected our experience.
Furthermore, I wonder if the cook is satisfied when he sends this type of dish to the dining room.
Increased attention to food quality and presentation could certainly improve the overall experience for customers. I would recommend the hotel receptionist to avoid recommending this restaurant.

But really rotten atmosphere.
The waiters drank, spoke very loudly and basically made a big mess and threw the roll of paper towels to make a ball.
For a romantic meal we were seriously disappointed...!
We asked a waitress about it, it's often this atmosphere in the evenings.!!
We will never come back!!!!
