A very warm welcome, excellent food (and beautifully presented dishes!), impeccable service with a smile, and to top it all off, a fantastic sorbet to help with digestion. 22/06/2026: I don't usually leave Google reviews, but this time it was absolutely necessary. Quite simply, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The flank steak was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and bursting with taste. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the food is prepared with care. Every bite was a delight. The service was also top-notch, with a welcoming and attentive team. Honestly, an excellent find that I highly recommend. I will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

09/08/2026: We ate at Le Chant du Bois on a Friday evening, and we had an excellent meal. The dishes were delicious and generous, and the desserts were too! It was quite busy, but despite that, there was no wait; the service was efficient! The staff is very friendly and efficient. If we return to the area, we will definitely come back to your restaurant with great pleasure!

13/02/2026: A hidden gem in Raon-l'Étape: Go for it without hesitation! While traveling in the area, I called this restaurant on a whim for lunch, and what a surprise! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a wonderful atmosphere in a modern and stylish setting. What immediately strikes you is the perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. The service is both professional and warm; you instantly feel at ease. As for the food, the lunch menu is absolutely flawless: The starter: An excellent rabbit terrine. You can taste the "homemade" quality from the first bite, it's undeniable. The main course: A fillet of pollack with sweet potato, all enhanced by an incredible sauce... The chef is right to keep it a secret; it's truly memorable! The dessert: An apple-blueberry clafoutis so delicate it would make any gourmet blush. A truly wonderful discovery! 10/07/2026: Perfectly located snack bar! The staff is fantastic, friendly, and welcoming! The food is excellent, with a price-quality ratio rarely seen in Gérardmer! Fast service!

25/06/2026: Favourite spot. Chilled, great service from very pleasant young staff members. We came several evenings for a great ice-cream "glaces Italian". Today we are lunch. A salad and a steak with fries. Good price and delicious!

29/08/2026: A lovely restaurant that has all the hallmarks of a great one! We stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling through the city. The decor was charming and elegant, the service excellent, and the menu clear and concise, hinting at the quality of the dishes on offer. We opted for the three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) and we weren't disappointed! As visually stunning as it was delicious, the portions were generous, and the price was perfect. It's a pleasure to find establishments that offer such wonderful experiences. We'll be back!

19/08/2026: Here's what I disliked during my disastrous visit to this terrible restaurant: limited menu choices the fried food was burnt the TVs didn't work the waitresses were unpleasant it was extremely difficult to change your order while eating the waitresses complained about customers from behind their old counter the military card discount, which applied to the entire bill less than a month ago, no longer does the toilets were filthy and have been out of order forever the presentation of the smash burger was awful; I had ground beef in my burger, not a patty, and the bun was overcooked I received Nutella Sneaker ice cream instead of Caramel Bueno, and it was already melted when it arrived I will never set foot in this fraudulent establishment again.
