24/04/2026: I contacted this establishment today to make a reservation for 15 people. The person who answered immediately informed me that they "didn't take groups of that size." Fine. I then suggested splitting the group into two separate tables, which seemed like a simple and reasonable solution. A flat refusal, with the sole justification being that "everyone would get up at the same time."
I can understand that the logistics of a large group can present challenges, but the way it was said—curtly, without the slightest courtesy—was frankly unpleasant.
If the problem is simply a matter of availability or capacity, they should have said so clearly and politely.
That would have been much more honest and far less of a deal-breaker.
Unfortunately, I agree with the reviews that mention a difficult reception. And the result is simple: even for a table of two, I won't be going back. It's a shame, because at a time when many restaurants are going through difficult periods, deliberately turning away customers due to a lack of courtesy is a rather peculiar choice.
I sincerely hope they never encounter any difficulties and that they find a way to offer a warmer welcome.

Cleanliness, impeccable service!
The food is good, with well-prepared dishes, specializing in meat, which is of very high quality!
I highly recommend it...
And we will return as soon as the opportunity arises!

Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The welcome was warm and you immediately felt a friendly atmosphere. The servers were absolutely fantastic: smiling, attentive, and with such positive energy that it made the experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, it was flawless: the dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and flavorful. You can tell they paid attention to every detail.
It's a place where you feel comfortable, both for the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it and I will gladly return.

And I wasn't disappointed at all!
A clean and well-maintained restaurant without any frills.
The service was simple, pleasant, and efficient.
The food was really, really good! And beautifully presented!
- I had the all-you-can-eat ribeye steak; the meat was high-quality, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and grilled—it made a huge difference!
The sides were also very good, with homemade fries and a nice touch of vegetables to accompany everything!
- My friend had a set menu with a Vosges salad and a seafood appetizer (a very generous portion of fish).
In short! It's beautiful and delicious, and reasonably priced considering the quality!
30/03/2026: We had a lovely lunch and a wonderful culinary experience at Les Bouchées d'Or restaurant. We enjoyed the bouchées à la mer and the traditional bouchée à la reine. The service was quick and friendly. I recommend this restaurant.

11/01/2026: We were a group of seven on Friday evening and received a friendly welcome. The prices, couscous, etc., were truly excellent, the portions were very generous, and seconds were even offered. The house wine in the pitcher was also very good, and the service was attentive and prompt. The restaurant had a lovely and authentic atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful evening. As far as I know, there are no other Moroccan restaurants in Saarbrücken. We highly recommend this one.

The chicken breasts, the maple-marinated meats, the Canadian beers: they have it all!
05/04/2026: For several years we've wanted to go to this restaurant, and a day trip to Sainte-Croix Park finally allowed us to stop by in the evening.
Honestly, it was very pleasant, with a typical log cabin setting.
The staff is very attentive.
The prices are reasonable.
Most of the ingredients are locally sourced! You can see and taste it!
We had a wonderful meal and a lovely time. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely stop by again on my next trip to the area.

16/04/2026: Restaurant closed despite a sign saying "open" on the front door (I quote: Monday to Friday, ..., from 6:45 pm... I arrived at 7:15 pm...) door closed... no one answers the phone... a young man comes out, barely says hello, and leaves immediately... (he tells me there's a sign on the door saying it's closed, but it's not there... he says it's indicated on the website, but there's no mention of it there either...) Classy... what a welcome!!

10/04/2026: Okay, let's be blunt: we won't be going back...
The service is quick, efficient, and cheerful: 5 stars. The bistro-style dining room is spacious but a tad noisy (nothing unbearable): 4 stars. The food is acceptable: it's not amazing, but there's enough variety to find something you like: only 3 stars, though.
In fact, our overall rating is also only 3 stars... Why? The price is simply outrageous! Let's be clear: we eat out as a family at least once a week. I personally eat out another 1 or 2 times a week. We eat at fast-food restaurants, upscale establishments, casual eats, and even on terraces in seaside resorts... The previous weekend, we had just spent €155 for four people (two adults and two children) and were very happy with a new place we had discovered in Mance...
And yet, the €125 we spent at Red Beef tonight seems completely exorbitant. This is mainly due to the quality of the food: we won't go into detail, as other customers' reviews summarize the culinary experience quite well, and we regret to confirm that it doesn't justify the price (main courses alone are between €21 and €32)...
In short, and again, we apologize to the restaurant staff who put their heart and soul into their work, but we won't be returning.

It's a surprise… you don't know the price of what you're going to eat!
We sit down… They bring us rice with half a sausage and a small piece of chicken
(What is this? The starter? The main course? The side dish?)
They don't explain anything,
Then comes the meat (I must say it was excellent) with unlimited fries
But I've barely finished my piece of meat… The waitress brings dessert…
Still no choice
It's lukewarm pineapple
And that's the end of the meal
For €45 per person!!!!! No atmosphere, unpleasant waitress
Who's in a hurry to finish her shift
In short, I don't recommend it
