12/02/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Restaurant Zimmer in La Wantzenau. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in a refined and welcoming setting. The cuisine is perfectly executed, showcasing high-quality ingredients with precision and finesse. Each dish is meticulously presented, both in terms of its aesthetic appeal and the balance of flavors. Special mention goes to the frog legs, a real highlight: perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned, and with a melt-in-your-mouth texture—a truly indulgent experience. The attentive and professional service completes this exceptional culinary experience. A must-visit for lovers of fine dining in Alsace.

06/12/2025: The food was very good but overpriced for the quality; it doesn't deserve one star. The menu isn't up-to-date, the cheese portion for dessert is minimal with no choice of selection, and game is mandatory in three-quarters of the dishes on an already very limited (and outdated) menu. Overall, I was disappointed with the value for money.

20/11/2025: Creative, balanced flavors with fresh local ingredients. Only 125 euros for dinner with two glasses of wine. My second time here and will definitely return. Service was friendly but not intrusive, just perfect. What a lovely evening 🙌🏼

09/03/2026: If the chef and his team were playing a concerto, their score would have been flawless. From the amuse-bouches to the petit fours, everything was simply perfect. The flavor combinations, seasonings, and cooking techniques were on par with (or even surpassing) the Michelin-starred restaurants we've already experienced. The service was impeccable, perfectly orchestrated by the restaurant manager, who once again delivered a top-notch experience, with tableside cocktail preparation and flambéing. A wonderful culinary experience, and without a doubt the best value for money for a restaurant of this caliber. Thank you to Chef Loessel and his entire team for this enchanting interlude. It's incomprehensible that this establishment hasn't yet been recognized by the Michelin Guide.

We were served by passionate, dedicated professionals who were deeply committed to their work. The explanations were precise, lively, and enriching—each interaction added another dimension to the experience. You could feel a real team spirit and a genuine desire to share. The food was simply exquisite! We were truly impressed by the bold flavors, especially the absolutely incredible flaky pretzel served with exceptional local foie gras—a combination as surprising as it was masterfully executed. As for the main courses, I was expecting the classic, pronounced taste of game. What a surprise! The venison was exceptional, remarkably delicate. All the sauces were perfectly executed—so much so that I couldn't resist mopping up every last drop with my bread. Special mention to the entire team: it's a rare honor and pleasure to be served by the chef himself, as well as by such a passionate and dedicated team. The welcome was on par with everything else: attentive, elegant, with the refined touch of handing our jackets back over our shoulders as we left.
