02/02/2026: We came with friends, most of us for the first time.
A simple mountain inn, just what we were looking for.
The meal was fantastic, we all enjoyed our dishes 😋 😋
Hazelnut ice cream is highly recommended.
One small drawback: the entrance to the restaurant is a bit gloomy as there's no nightlight. Perhaps a small lamp would be a good idea 😜

14/01/2026: The restaurant was a delightful surprise, offering carefully prepared traditional and regional cuisine made with quality ingredients. Impeccable service, friendly smiles, and a beautifully decorated dining room made for a wonderful experience. Bravo and thank you!
28/11/2025: In August 2025, we had a wonderful meal, and the staff was very friendly.
We'll definitely be back to try the hotel! 👌👍
In November 2025, we enjoyed a gourmet getaway: sauerkraut for dinner, a night in a very quiet apartment, and breakfast with a view of the garden, deer, llamas, pheasants, and chickens.
Our only regret was that we weren't hungry enough!
A must-see! 🤩

22/02/2026: A warm welcome from two waitresses. Comfortable space and a veranda opening onto the outside. A menu featuring ingredients worthy of the region. And the Munster and Gruyère-type cheeses are meltingly delicious and have a floral aroma.
24/11/2025: Beware of the order and the bill; the staff is dishonest. They charged us extra for adult dishes and desserts instead of the four children's menus we had ordered, which included desserts. Not an apology, not a gesture of goodwill; the owner is determined to meet her sales target at any cost and refuses to listen, even though a waitress admitted her mistake. Having worked in retail and customer service myself, I must say I have never witnessed such a lack of consideration and honesty. I strongly advise against this place for anyone wanting to enjoy a pleasant meal with friends.
PS: Even when dissatisfied, I never leave negative reviews to avoid harming businesses, but this is unacceptable.

15/02/2026: After a 10km hike in the rain and snow, having planned a break at this hostel, we found the doors closed at 4:30 pm, even though closing time was 6 pm.
What a shame! Luckily, we hadn't planned to eat there.
11/12/2025: Charming, friendly people and delicious food. It's very good, I'll go back. One drawback: they don't accept credit cards, but as we know, we're prepared for that.

27/12/2025: A huge thank you to the manager and the entire hotel team for making our Christmas at the hotel so wonderful.
Everything was perfect: the staff's helpfulness and kindness, a relaxing atmosphere, and a cozy room with incredibly comfortable bedding. We wish we could have stayed longer.
The restaurant is amazing!
The setting is superb. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views all around the hotel while still being close to amenities.
I would like to thank the entire team again for their kindness, attentiveness, and helpfulness... Beyond a wonderful stay, it was also a pleasure to meet some lovely people.
See you very soon!
14/12/2025: From the outside, the Hotel Marchal might not look like much, but once inside, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. The welcome is warm, the staff are friendly and attentive. The bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained.
The breakfast is particularly generous and a welcome start to the day. The location is simply fantastic: peaceful, a real change of scenery, and perfect for getting away from it all.
A very pleasant surprise that I recommend without hesitation.
