18/08/2026: We dined at Gibolin as a group of four, with a reservation, one evening during the week. We tried the beef tongue and roasted figs for starters, and the roasted veal breast and beef tataki for main courses (special mention to the veal sauce and the potatoes in the tataki, which were delicious, and the mustard seeds in the starters, a pleasant surprise). The portions were generous; we're quite active and ate our fill. For two set menus (starter + main), two individual main courses, and a bottle of wine, we paid €37 each. -> The service was very friendly and helpful with our wine selection, and the wine was excellent. A charming setting in the narrow streets of Arles, without being too crowded or noisy. The prices seemed fair for the quality of the food. The cuisine is very good and refined, typical of Arles (check local reviews to be sure). *Note that we were 5 minutes late and were called to confirm that we were still coming. We were expecting a somewhat rushed service, in order to make room for a second service, but ultimately we did not experience any problems with that.

23/08/2026: Generous and authentic cuisine. Very pleasant and quick service. Everything was delicious... our chosen dishes: the seafood casserole, the fennel salad with aioli, and the grilled octopus. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

20/08/2026: We had dinner at this "small" restaurant, which offers cuisine worthy of the finest establishments. It was simply excellent! The menu is intentionally small, but it guarantees high-quality appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Each dish is carefully prepared, and the flavors are truly exceptional. The kindness and warm welcome of this family add even more charm to this restaurant. A wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend!

06/09/2026: Overall, it was supposed to be fusion food, but it didn't feel harmonious at all, and the duck meat was tough. Only the mashed potatoes were delicious. The price is also high compared to the taste and portion size. The menu selection was limited and the taste was disappointing. It was not pleasant because it is right next to the road, so there was a lot of road noise, and there were people smoking outdoors.

27/09/2026: We had dinner on a Friday night. The service was impeccable. The waitress was lovely and the food was delicious. We started with an amazing poulpe ceviche, followed by veal pave with thyme and honey reduction and gilthead bream with persillade. We also had a liter of sangria and two goat cheeses with olive oil. All the dishes were delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. It has a charming little patio.

17/09/2026: Excellent service, quality products and a menu featuring regional specialties, perfectly cooked dishes, a lovely little courtyard – a truly delightful experience.

13/09/2026: A fantastic place we discovered last year and returned to this summer with just as much pleasure! The quality of the ingredients is impeccable, and the care put into the cooking is evident in every dish: the combinations of ingredients and the cooking techniques are perfect and expertly executed. Add to that a very pleasant setting and a warm welcome that makes you want to come back. A sure bet in Arles!

11/09/2026: Disastrous experience. I expressed my doubts to the owner about my lasagna. Barely 15 minutes after finishing my meal, I started feeling unwell, with symptoms of severe gastroenteritis. It's impossible to imagine that this wasn't related to the questionable quality of what I ate. I strongly advise against going to this place.

26/09/2026: Thank you, I highly recommend it because we were still in the bullring at 7:30 pm, so we had booked a table for 6 people at 7:30 pm. We let them know we'd be late and arrived an hour later! => after the bullfight, right in the middle of the feria, and our table was waiting for us. 29/08/2026: We found Mimosa to be the perfect restaurant for a lunch break during a day of sightseeing. Everything was perfect, from the very friendly and warm welcome to the excellent dishes served quickly and with a contagious smile. We will return to Arles and we already know where we will have lunch!

14/09/2026: Unfortunate that they don't serve like to serve english speaking tourists. I guess my patronage and money was not appreciated here. We sat down to get some drinks. We were asked by one waiter to move to a different part of the cafe. We moved. Waited for 10 minutes while other tables received service. Decided to leave for the cafe next door. As we exited the waiter proclaimed "parfait". Actually I'm very pleased to not get service here. Edit: To the owner's reply- we were sitting on the lunch section. Not the service section. And immediately moved to the "drinks only" section. In fact, we weren't even inside. Incredible that you didn't even notice us and posted an incorrect reply. Maybe there were other patrons who left for the same reason but simply didn't comment. And my note regarding money still stands. As a tourist, I am enriching your city and if you don't want it, I'm still going to spend it at a different place. So please don't be confused. Thank you again for proving how indifferent you can be to visitors.
